Angel Visitations?

In your Christian walk, have you had any experiences with angels, or was that only for the time of Peter and Paul?

Share your own experiences here, or share any experiences that somebody you know may have experienced and had shared them with you.

I had an angel protect me while I slept one night. The angel prevented someone from entering my room - my mom saw only that this man could not get in and was being strangled at my door. I slept through it all and only heard about it in the morning.

In 1979 I lived in Tacamo, WA. I was not a Christian and was very much living in sin. This is a semi long story so I will just tell you that I too was asleep. I do not know what woke me up but I had such a very very strong impression to go and hide all my knives in the kitchen. When I look back on this now I am very surprized that I did this. I had no contact with anything of a spiritual nature so I just did this without knowing why. I found out later why. It took me a few weeks after something happened that night for me to relize that I had been awakened by what I believe was my guardian angel. If I had ignored the strong impression to hide my knives in the kitchen I am sure I would not be here today to tell this. God is so good to us even when we are yet sinners. Amen.

What really hit home to me much later on when I became a Christian and studied more is that God knows what is going to happen ahead of time and he knew ME so well He knew what my reaction would be to something that would put me in this grave danger that night. We serve a great and wonderful God. Amen

His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me. The Lord is great and more worthy of the praise I have to offer. The countless times He has sent His angels to protect or reveal to me something that would direct my paths. I too was awaken from a sound, comfortable sleep. The Lord instructed me to get in my car and take a ride. The revelation was life changing, painful, but life changing. I stand today only because of His mercies. Even as I have consciously walked outside of His will, He still loves and protects me. What a mighty God I serve. He cares for you too, just as He looks after and cares for the sparrow,He is looking after you. Happy Easter, the Lord is risen!

While Howard was laying in the ditch after his accident, he remembers me being in the ditch with him holding his head in my lap and stroking his hair, kissing his cheek and telling him it would be okay. I told him in the ER that I was never in the ditch with him. We are both convinced that it was his guardian angel comforting him until help could arrive.

Praise the Lord!!!

It has been almost a year since anybody shared any experiences with angels.

Does anybody else have any angel encounters to share with us?

When I was a kid I was back home visiting family, and running around with my friend across the street. As we were playing I ran out into the street to run to my aunts house, and there was a car going very fast, so I jumped, and I felt something push meso I was on the other side.


Lots more to tell, but I know that The Lord has always been with me when sad or when feeling really happy.

Back in the 1920's my Mom and Dad were medical missionaries to Mexico. My Dad was traveling on horse back to visit a company of believers living several miles from his station. When a short distance from his destination, while jogging quietly through a heavily wooded district, his horse came to a sudden halt. Just as the horse stopped, my Dad heard the crack of a rifle and a bullet passed through his saddle. Had the horse not stopped the instant it did, the bullet would have found the mark at which it was aimed.

Looking in the direction of the report, my Dad saw a man's head and the barrel of a rifle protruding from behind a tree. The horse quickly leaped forward carrying my Dad around a curve in the road and out of reach of the assassin's bullet. Only the God of heaven can direct His angels to instantly stop a horse to save the life of His faithful missionary.

I've talked with one of my guardian angels -- on the phone!

Others have seen TWO guardian angels walking with me, one on each side. They described them as "linebacker hunks"; but since I was walking alone at the time, I figured out who they must have been.

Angels once "parked their late-model-luxury cars all over my lawn" to keep my landlady from collecting the rent on Sabbath.

And you'll just have to take my word for it--my two angels have a neat sense of humor!

I was having a difficult time in my life asking God a lot of deep questions that seemed to have no answers. I've always been sensitive to little children or animals suffering and I had lots of other questions too, but why the suffering was a main question.

One night I dreamed my angel came to visit me. My angel answered every question just as clearly as could be and when done, my angel told me I could safely trust in God no matter what.

When I woke up, I couldn't remember all the specific answers to my questions, only the very last comment. But that was all I needed. My burden became much lighter.

I had an angel drive a truck.
This was back in the days, when I had left the church, and was just beginning to attend church again. Satan didn't want me to go, I guess.

I was driving down a very narrow street with cars parked on both sides, which left only one lane. All of the sudden a huge truck came around the corner right at me.
There was a parking space in front of me so I drove into it. Just as I parked, the same truck came around the same corner AGAIN! I would have been crushed!
I looked in my rear view mirror to see the first truck. Nothing was there.
So... did I have a vision of what was going to happen or did an angel drive the first truck?
