You guys will think I'm from another planet when you hear this; but I really am a nice guy!

Anyways; on April 29th, 1995; I climbed to the top of a tall tree; and while I was up there, the following poem came to mind:

"Real Hope"

"I love the Lord, because He hears me; He listens to my prayers!" (Ps.116:1, TEV).

"I may climb the highest tree
And though I try to get away
Jesus hung and died for me
Just to meet me here today

I really think He's living
Yes, I feel His personal touch
He will not stop His giving
He must love me very much

Just to really know the Lord
wants me at my point of need
Makes me climb with sweet accord
Up the highest tree indeed!"

"With my own eyes; I have seen your salvation!" (Luke 1:30, TEV).

P.S.

Yes! I still climb trees! I have two boys to teach!

David,
I like the poem. Can I send this to a friend, she might like it?
