"In contrast to the activity of both the Father and the Son, the work of the Holy Spirit is not as openly depicted in either Testament.

But there is a reason for this contrast: the Holy Spirit does not seek to be the center of attention. He plays more of a behind-the-scenes role. The Father and the Son are more directly revealed in the Word. And that's because the Holy Spirit is there to point us, not to Himself, but to Jesus and what Jesus has done for us." -- SSQ Q1 2017 - Introduction (para 6,7)

I will wait until the end of the quarter, when you have completed all 13 lessons over 90 days delving into the matter more deeply. It is obvious that SDA have inside info about the Holy Spirit since they are able to carry on a discussion for 90 days, a different topic on each day.

And so I am anxious to hear what you will say ...

The Holy Spirit is obviously God in the same manner that Jesus Christ, the Son, is God, and in the same manner that the Father is also God.

  • You forgot one other. The Holy Spirit is also an angel of God.

    "Are they not all MINISTERING SPIRITS sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?" (Heb. 1:14) They are the HOLY ones, aren't they?

    "And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth." (Rev. 5:6)

    We ought not to worship angels. (Rev. 17:1 & 19:10)

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++

  • And lest you forget, the Holy Spirit is also an idea, a thought that grows inside of you and produces much fruit of holy acts contrary to the old character; so that it is said that you had been born again. (John 6:63)
