Pray for Rebeccah and Brian!

I was looking at the babycenter.com boards and this prayer request jumped out at me. I got tears in my eyes just reading it. PLEASE! Pray for these people. I told the woman who posted this message that I was going to ask some friends and family to pray for her friend and the friend's family.

"My long time friend Rebeccah needs prayer for her unborn baby. Rebeccah and her husband Brian have been through too much already. About four years ago, they found out halfway through her pregnancy that they were having siamese twins. The pregnancy had to be terminated because the girls, Hope and Joy, were joined at the head, sharing a brain and having no faces. She got preg. a few months later and the baby died at 10
weeks. Then, 2 1/2 years ago, they gave birth to a healthy baby boy, who soon contracted salmonella and had to stay in the hospital for weeks. He is doing fine now. Last year, she became pregnant again and at
the 12 week appointment there was no longer any baby, but her body still thought she was pregnant. So far she has had to have 3 D&C's which has given much emotional stress.
Now, she is due the last week of June with Reagan Kelly, and everything has been fine up until now. Her amniotic fluid levels were high, so they did an ultrasound and found so many things wrong. There is a blockage in the intestines close to the stomach that has caused Reagan's stomach to distend and a "double-bubble" affect in the tube. One of her kidney's is dialated and there are signs of heart damage. They also gave her a 30% chance of having Down's Syndrome or another type of chromosomal abnomality. Rebeccah is
having an ultrasound done on Reagan's heart by a specialist today at 4pm EST. She will find out the amnio results on Monday and next week she will see a pediatric surgeon about the intestinal kink. She will need surgery after birth, but if it is all of the way
blocked, she might need to be born now, which at 25 weeks, would lead to even more medical problems. They are hoping to get her to 32 weeks.
As you can see, Rebeccah and Brian need your prayers for the unborn baby, Reagan. Please keep her in your prayers today at 4pm and next week as more tests are done. I will keep you all updated.

They are definitely in my prayers. What trials for young parents to have to face. So many. Please Lord take care of these children and their mommy and daddy. Amen.
