I've got some good stuff on those threads. Tell me if they're found.

By the way, I was at the General Conference session personally but really got to see nothing. Are Joan's wrapups available anywhere? I saw one briefly that mentioned the burst water pipe. My 6-year-old daughter was one of those who was evacuated from that building--it was quite traumatic for her. She spent the rest of the day beside her mom and younger sister.

If I remember correctly, the first one was because the server pulled the plug.
Got upset because the ads were on the bottom of the page instead of the top.

The second was because the new server had a nervous breakdown with all the action going on, the server kept stopping access.

Gerry is correct both in both situations.

We lost all our data in the first case.

We didn't lose any data whatsoever in the 2nd case as it was transferred to the server we ara on now.

I learned our lesson the hard way which means it will not happen again.

As far as our membership grows, we are 1/2 way to where we were before we lost all our data. Those who re-registered are what I would describe as the more active and/or quality members. Plus, we have new members that we never had previously.

We are continuing to grow as we just had a new member register yesterday from Saint John, NB (Another member from the Maritimes).

When we lost all of our data, the quality members stayed and many of our embarassing first attempts at posts got lost. Hmmm--sounds like not everything was so negative.

Why don't we make it a regular practice to have Jubilee months?

I probably shouldn't have said quality as practically every member is a quality member as far as I am concerned.

It's the more active members that have re-registered plus some new ones who hadn't been with us previously.
