Real economic numbers for the US

Real economic numbers for the US - 06/05/17 02:49 PM

Ever wonder how the US government figures its unemployment numbers, inflation numbers, dollar value numbers, etc...? The officially published unemployment numbers say the unemployment rate in the US is 4.3%, yet it is apparent to anyone who is really paying attention that the numbers of people actually working is far below what it was years ago. The economy just has a completely different feel to it. Well, I just ran across a couple of sites that tell us why there is such a different feel to the economy than the official numbers tell us that there is.

This first link tells us how many people actually have jobs in the US. The second link provides charts that give the economic numbers the way they used to be figured 30-40 years ago before the government began tinkering with the numbers the way they do now. If you are new to the idea that the government is, and has been, lying to us for a long time about the state of the economy this stuff may be pretty shocking to you as the real numbers are pretty bad.

This is the kind of information we need to know. People on social security being cheated on or out of their complete COLA raise each year.

And people have noticed this for years now.

There is a lot of info online. You just have to go beyond the main stream media to find it. They are implicit in the cover up of this type of data. They don't want people to know just how close we are to collapse and how corrupt things are. They mock and scorn all of this and try to portray it as extremism, conspiracy theories, etc.... They do their best to suppress it.

One time when Congressman Ron Paul had then Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernake before congress and he said these indexes were "fudged". I say they're manipulated.

The CPI calculation for inflation is terrible.

"Fudged" or manipulated, it means the same thing.

Did you look at the GDP numbers? The US economy has not been growing, but actually contracting since 2001. That's longer than the "great depression" of the 1930's. How about that unemployment rate? That again is the same as in the 1930's: 22%. We have more people out of the labor force, 102+ million, than ever before in our history, and they are considered to be out of the labor force because they have run out of unemployment benefits and are no longer registered at the government employment office. Last month alone the government put close to 700,000 people into that category where they no longer count. Then they crowed about an unemployment rate of 4.3%. Said we had "full employment".

The dollar has lost so much confidence that crypto currencies are growing at an unbelievable rate. The slowest growing of them are growing at around 100%, the fastest growing ones are growing at rates over 1000%. Why so much more than gold? Because the Fed hasn't yet figured out that they are here to stay, so, unlike gold and silver, they are not attempting to depress their prices.
