What young kids see as "wholesome". - 07/11/17 09:07 PM
There is a new rap star in the world. He calls himself Lil Yachty, and his fans say he truly represents them in what they see as a wholesome way.
The first link below is a short article on him with a bunch of comments from teens as to why they like him. The next two links are something you most likely do not want to look at if foul language really bothers you. They are links to the lyrics of two of Lil Yachty's hits. I was going to say, songs, but I don't see rapping as singing.
This is a rather unique insight into what the generation now coming thinks, and how they view morality. This is what a lot of young girls, both black and white, are looking at as wholesome as they are some of his biggest fans. Be warned though, this is some very nasty stuff. I know this has been going on for a while in rap, but what is scary about this stuff is that it is completely sick, yet the kids now see this as wholesome. I listened to a lot of rock and roll portraying hedonism as the preferred way of life, but even in my wildest dreams I never thought of it as "wholesome". This generation is something I, personally, have never seen before.
