Hopefully, as the unsaved world sees the terrible events taking place on the Earth, many will turn to God. I wonder though, will it be as the days of Noah with only a few saved, or with the outpouring of the Latter Rain, will it be thousands or even millions?

Will we be able to count the saved? An outpouring of the Holy Spirit is promised on all, old and young, male and female wil take part.

With the lack of understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ among His chosen people, many will leave our ranks and others will join in the final days.

Yes the article talks of currents, but isn't that a temporary momentary thing.

I recall reading or seeing about Kiribati before. Their problem is sucking out fresh water for crops and other uses allowing salt water to encroach. Then the article I saw took off on rising sea levels. Not the real problem. But gives them publicity for their abuse of natural resources. It's a real problem for them, but nothing to do with global warming or rising sea levels. Their problem would exist even if there was nothing else happening anywhere else. They have multiplied and are taking out more fresh water than they have resources for.

But if you are the governor of the Island, and people have watered their fields with salt-contaminated fresh water because of over pumping of freshwater, and you see you could get some publicity, sympathy, and funding, wouldn't you go for it?


But if before they were talking about an inch over the next century, and they have taxed us more and put on restrictions on things, and now they are saying it's feet over a few years, then it would follow that we can conclude that what they think they are doing to stop it is not working.

An article, I believe it was on the Planet in Distress website, said there is a correlation between the added mass of water from polar melt in the world's oceans to the recent huge increase in volcanic activity, particularly in the Pacific Ring of Fire. Think of applying pressure to a pimple: pop goes the world!

The inter connectivity of God's creation is amazing. Whatever the cause may be, when one system is degraded every system pays the price. The great domino effect of sin continues to wend its serpentine path, God's voice echoes down through the millennia: "Adam, where are you!".

I can only go by that information which is made available. If it doesn't turn out to be true, then of course I will change my mind accordingly.

Unfortunately, we are all stuck listening to reports that may not be trustworthy. Between our government and the other governments of the world and all these different industries, there is very little we can truly trust.

They make the point that Antartica receives less precipitation than the Sahara Desert. But, they never ask the question where all that ice came from then!?! Some of the ice is so tall that it actually buries mountains. Yet, without any rain or snow to speak of, where did all that ice come from?

But, I'm sure a global flood is impossible. We must consider our sources when reading all this data we get from governments and industries.

It all boils down to one thing....

Climate Happens.

Hundreds of wildfires in BC and Saskatchewan, it looks like an old fashioned London fog here in Alberta. 300 wildfires in Alaska and many more in Siberia. As of June 30, Alaska has already broken its all time record for total acreage burnt and there are months of fire season left.

Blackened ground absorbes heat faster, which in turn hastens permafrost thaw, which then increases fire risk. Things are speeding up!

I recall the SW U.S. had lots of acreage burnt a decade or more ago.
