What does the Bible say about Itself?

This is what I would like to be discussed in this thread.

Here is what would be a good one to begin with:

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

By the way, I can't find the word "Bible" being identified as such anywhere, but the words "Scripture" and "Scriptures" are used a lot.

So what does the Bible say about Itself here?

1 - All of the Bible is given by inspiration of God.
2 - It is profitable for doctrine.
3 - It is profitable for reproof.
4 - It is profitable for correction.
5 - It is profitable for instruction in righteousness.

Thy word is truth. John 17:17
Magnified thy word above all thy name. Psalm 138:2.
If they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isa. 8:20

Just a few more.

I was doing some research on a catholic website recently. They claim the Bible itself does not support sola scriptura.

Their argument was in support of the use of church tradition equally with scripture. Of course the words of Jesus: "Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.", demolishes that.
And then there is Isaiah: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them."

It got me thinking though, what other statements does the Bible make about itself as the final authority in matters of faith?

Naturally, the Catholics put a lot of effort into discrediting the authority of scripture. It might be a good idea to acquaint ourselves with the relevant verses.

Here is a detailed catholic arguement against solo scriptura:

Revelation 22:18-19 For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book”

Psalms 119
119:128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
119:129 Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore my soul does keep them.
119:130 The entrance of thy words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.
119:133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
119:140 Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loves it.
119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endures for ever.

2 Timothy 3:15 ..the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works

1 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies,

Proverbs 30:4 Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? who has gathered the wind in his fists? who has bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if you can tell?
30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Matt. 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Matt. 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures,

Luke 24:27 And (Jesus) beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
24:32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

John 5:39 (Jesus said) Search the scriptures; ... they are they which testify of me.

Acts 17:2 Paul... reasoned with them out of the scriptures, 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Acts 18:28 For he (Apollos) mightily convinced the Jews publically, showing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

2 Peter 3:16 they that are unlearned and unstable wrest... scriptures, unto their own destruction.
3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
