Did ANYONE see a moon being red? If you live where forest fires are burning (like in Canada) you are in for seeing a red moon quite frequently -- also a red sun rising and setting.

As I said earlier --
I do not think the "wondrous signs in the heavens" the scripture is talking about are natural events, neither eclipses or forest fires.
However -- God can still use these "natural events" in the heavens to get people to consider that this old world won't last forever.

The Historic Dark Days were not eclipses! Talking about the dark day of 1780 EGW writes: On the 19th of May, 1780, this prophecy was fulfilled. “Almost if not altogether alone as the most mysterious and as yet unexplained phenomenon of its kind, . . . stands the dark day of May 19, 1780,—a most unaccountable darkening of the whole visible heavens and atmosphere in New England.” That the darkness was not due to an eclipse is evident from the fact that the moon was then nearly full. It was not caused by clouds, or the thickness of the atmosphere, for in some localities where the darkness extended, the sky was so clear that the stars could be seen. Concerning the inability of science to assign a satisfactory cause for this manifestation, Herschel the astronomer declares: “The dark day in North America was one of those wonderful phenomena of nature which philosophy is at a loss to explain.” {GC88 306.1} Also the darkness at the cross was not an eclipse "There was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour." There was no eclipse or other natural cause for this darkness, which was as deep as midnight without moon or stars. It was a miraculous testimony given by God that the faith of after generations might be confirmed. {DA 753.3}

First, an eclipse never lasts more than about seven and a half minutes and it's usually shorter depending on exactly where the earth and moon are in their orbits. Second, as eluded to in the first quote, an eclipse is always around the new moon. A full moon requires the moon to be approximately on the opposite side of the earth from the sun, allowing us to see nearly the entire sunlit half of the moon. Passover is in the middle of a lunar month, which is when the full moon is, so the moon would have been on the wrong side of the earth for it to come between the sun and earth to eclipse the sun.

A different perspective on this == as I was just listening to Andrew Henrriques Shocking Prophetic Symbols in Solar Black Out. Christ is the light of the world.John 8:12 Then spake Jesus saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Ps. 119:105 His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.
Pr. 6:2 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Papacy blocks out this light. History reveals the papacy directs mankind to look to it's system in all these aspects. Even to the cleansing of sin, and the keys to life. They outlawed the Word (Bible) for centuries. Claim they have the authority to change God's commandments and law. They move to eclipse the light of Christ! Prophecy reveals that this shadow will again fall across the nations. Could lasts month's eclipse signify a great shadow is about to fall upon America? As protestants link hands with the papacy, repudiating the Reformation for what it actually stood for, this union with the papacy will again block out the true light. A works program will be reinstated to replace faith and grace. But like all "dead works" that rely on what man can do to win the favor of the gods, instead of following the true light, it will substitute it's own formulas-- Sunday as the Lord's day.
