Exercise is a vital component of diabetes control too. When one builds up more muscle, there are more hungry cells to take up the glucose that's floating around in the blood. I am currently getting back into an exercise and walking program. I was getting so weak after sitting in the hospital with my son for nearly a month. It's encouraging to see and feel the evidence of strength returning!

Maybe you could gradually work up to two miles by just going a little bit farther every day or so. That's a lot to start out with if you haven't been walking regularly.

Maybe you could gradually work up to two miles by just going a little bit farther every day or so. That's a lot to start out with if you haven't been walking regularly. Well, after eating all the vegan and vegetarian foods on the Holistic Cruise and keeping from fried and fatty foods following the diet, I find myself considerably more flexible, at the joints and less pain in the muscles. Dont know what could be the exact cause, but having less issues walking and standing. We shall see...

That is awesome! Could be less inflammation in the joints and muscles from the more natural diet.

Appears to be, and we stopped at a natural restaurant and I testified to everyone there, and they were glad and agreeable to it and so were the owners. God blesses even our words when we do His will and allows truth in many ways..
