News reports and media confusion all point to one thing -- we are heading straight into something that could well be the LAST GREAT TIME OF TROUBLE!
A time when
Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

How do we prepare?

Often we think of physical survival
Get out of the cities to a place where you can grow your own food.
Get a place in which you can survive without electricity. In our modern homes if electricity shuts down we have no heat, no cooking stoves, food in fridge and freezer goes bad, no light, no hot water (and sometimes no water at all).

And there are many more things that people talk about in order to survive physically as the time of trouble comes upon us.

While there is some wisdom in preparing in a responsible way on the physical side of things, yet that is not the ultimate concern, and definitely not the most important preparation that those who would stand during the crises need to make.


As one person put it --

What we really need to prepare for, is to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Without the Holy Spirit -- we are doomed.
But with the Holy Spirit we can stand and encourage many others to stand.

But what does it mean to prepare to receive the Holy Spirit?

People complain saying, "we have waited many years, yet Christ has not come". Indeed, our grandparents thought Christ would come in their day. Now we have grandchildren and we are still here, waiting.

Disappointed people, as well as scoffers say: "Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 2 Peter 3:4
It is not God, Who is sleeping, it is the people.



Why are God's people asleep? Why are they "lukewarm" comfortably waiting for the Lord to come, when they need to be out their giving the three angel's message and sharing the gospel of the kingdom?

The answer is simple -- we need the Holy Spirit.
But then we ask, why do we not have the Holy Spirit empowering us?

One reason may be that we want the power, but do not want to abide by the conditions. We cannot use the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is to use us!"

Before they went out to "preach the gospel of the kingdom" in Jerusalem, Judah, Samaria and to the ends of the then known world, they spent time preparing their hearts to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

We are seeing it right now, before our very eyes...

This just is getting worse just as it seems to be getting better...

Then Trump said the US blockade of Iranian ports would continue ?in full force? until the ?transaction? with Iran is complete.

Now, 24 hours later, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it has blocked the strait once more, citing the continued US blockade of Iranian ports.

After a brief hope that one of the world?s busiest waterways might reopen, United States and Iran appear to agree on very little beyond ? maybe - being prepared to meet again.

On Saturday, the Iranian military reiterated that transits for commercial shipping would be tightly restricted so long as the US blockade continued. To reinforce the point, two vessels were fired upon some 20 miles off the coast of Oman, with Iranian gunboats responsible for the first attack, according to the tanker?s captain.
