Do Names Possess Prophetic Significance?

I heard this interesting fact recently, and it made me wonder? Considering the significance of names in the word of God, is there any deeper meaning to be drawn from the name Donald Trump?

In the ancient world names tended to be reflections of character. In our day they tend to be labels. Either way, unless it is a special name from an angel, such as naming John [the Baptist] or Jesus, names do not have any prophetic significance.

Names don't have the same impact as in ancient times. Yet knowing the meaning of one's name can influence what we become. If our names have an uplifting purposeful meaning, we may well be challenged to meet it. If it has a more demeaning meaning, it may push us down and make it tougher to cope with life.
