Meteor Showers (Falling Stars) Over The Next Few Nights

I just saw and heard on the TV news that the next few evenings will be especially good for meteor showers, or what we also refer to as falling stars.

In what part of the country and about what times of the night or day are these showers supposed to happen? If its around the Northwest, I want to go see them! I love stuff like that!!

While people in eastern North America will probably see more per hour, there will still be a show in the western parts too.
