US Vote

I'm sure by now, the whole world has heard about the problems that the US has been having with our latest presidential vote. Please pray that all will work out for the best and that the man who is most up to the task will win. This situation is in the hands of Florida right now as they are going to have the deciding votes. I know that all will work out according to God's will, but I can't help being a little nervous about the whole thing. I have a feeling that if George Bush gets the presidency, then the Sunday laws may go into effect a lot sooner than we would like to see them. If Al Gore gets it, he would be less likely to sign a bill for the Sunday laws because his running mate is Jewish and worships on the Sabbath, like we do. This is a serious situation and we need all the prayers we can get. Thanks, and God bless you all!

Just think. All the flap is in West Palm Beach. My parents owned a condo there for several years.

When I visited there, from the conversations I heard poolside it seemed that all the residents were interested in was which restaurant they would eat at that evening. Now the future of the most powerful nation in the world lies on their shoulders. It is a definite cause for "all night" praying.

As of the time of this post; I have not heard who has/will win for sure; but one thing I have gleaned from my studies in prophecy is that the affairs of even the greatest nations are in the hands of an Almighty God. So I want to praise God in advance for whoever wins; because Sunday laws or no, God wouldn't permit it, if it wasn't in the plan.

Well, it's official... our next president will be George Bush. Al Gore conceded to him last night. It's finally over, after 5 weeks of lawsuits and such. I'm just glad that it's finally over, even if we didn't end up with the man I hoped would be president.
