Urgent request for Jan Hussong

Please pray for Jan Hussong. She has been in the hospital since the 10th with pneumonia. She is not expected to live through the weekend, in fact she was not expected to live this long.

She is being kept in an induced coma, but blood is pooling in her lungs, and it doesn't seem to be helping. Her husband Roger is very distraught. They are only in their mid to late 30's. Please pray for both of them. They are not SDA - Roger is my son-in-law's father's cousin.

Jan is still alive. The doctors have decided to do surgery tomorrow, but don't have much hope that she will survive it.

Heavenly Father,
We know You love all Your children and that You know what is best for us.
Sometimes we have trouble seeing past the events in our lives that bring us sorrow and grief, but, You are still there overseeing all that comes our way.

Father, we bring before You one of Your children, one of those that Jesus came to save.
Father, she has pneumonia, a very bad case of it.
Please guide the doctors as they operate on her to try to save her life.
If it is your will that she stay here for a while, we ask that You would heal her.
Father, if she and/or her family have not given themselves to You, we ask that You would heal her and use this as a means to reach those that have held back from You.
Please, give comfort to her family as they wait for the results of this surgery.
Thank You, Father, for Your attention to this and all our prayers on this childs behalf,

God is good! Jan is doing better, and the doctors decided not to do surgery. They were concerned about it because she has heart problems, which I did not know about until I spoke with Randy this afternoon. They are now expecting her to recover, though she is still not "out of the woods." They are still keeping her semi-comatose to allow her body to rest.

However, Roger's father is now also in the hospital with pneumonia, although they expect him to recover. Still, this is all very hard on Roger. He believes in God but is not a Christian.

Please pray not only for full recovery, but also for all of these family members to become more aware through this experience of God's intervention in their lives, so that they will want to learn more about Him.

Yesterday my son-in-law told me that Jan is still not out of danger, but they are gradually bringing her out of her coma and planning on putting her on a ventilator today, or it might have been last night.

I thank you for your love, and your many mercies. I thank you for the many ways you have preserved me...and how you healed me after being in a coma for three weeks from burn injuries...I pray that you will see fit to heal Jan in a similar way, and that she will know it was by prayer she was healed. And that she would give her heart to you because of it.

I just learned this morning from my son-in-law that Jan died last Friday. They removed her from life support because she was brain dead. He apologized for not telling me sooner. He thought he had.
