Prayer for Family

Do you know how it is when you get so lonely that you will accept the company of anyone - even if it is a person who has hurt you repeatedly in the past and shows no signs of changing? Please pray for my aunt that God will reach her and ease her loneliness. Pray that she will have strength, wisdom and courage to stand firm for herself and take care of herself - regardless of the empty promises and platitudes that this other person may offer her. I pray that she will be brought to Jesus and that this persons influence in her life can be broken or changed for the better.

Oh Lord,
You know what it is like to be lonely.
You know the pain of promises given and broken.

One of Your children is in that predicament today.
Please hear our petition for her, reach into her life, touch her heart and let her know you are here, in her life, and that You care about everything that she is going through.
Help her, and be with her family and guide them as they deal with this situation.
Help them to love her, and to draw her to You.
You have helped so many in their lonely times, and we know You can do it now.
