"People of all faiths use our hospital, but this was a first. As I reviewed a patient's chart, I noticed that the admitting nurse had written next to religion: Seventh Day in Venice." --signed.

laugh I haven't read a Reader's Digest in a long, long time! Is this taken form "Laughter Is The Best Medicine" or do they still have that page?

Could a wild guess be that the person doing the admitting just misunderstood "Seventh-day Adventist" as "Seventh day in Venice"?

Some people pronounce it "uh-venice" instead of "ad-ventist".
