When will the Seventh day Adventist Church
protest the genocide of civilians in Gaza?

Do we wait until there are none left?

Protests fall on deaf ears.

Better to weep and pray before the throne of God.

He is not indifferent to the wants and needs of His children.

Because like all of the modern protestant churches, many people in the SDA church are falling under the spell of believing that the literal temple must be rebuilt in Jerusalem to usher in the second coming, so they support the efforts of Israel to secure peace in the region so the temple can be rebuilt.

AND because many of the leaders of the SDA church are not really SDA, they are part of the watering down of the true end time message taught in our seminaries and universities. They have been supporting the efforts to unify with the Ecumenical movement so they rely on the efforts of the Catholic Church vicariously to bring peace to the region. Not one of our leaders have been seen offering any insight into the conflict.

But Nicaragua's president has a solution.

Pope Francis Should Cast Out Netanyahu’s Demons: Nicaragua President says

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Israeli PM is apparently possessed by the devil, Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega said, urging Pope Francis to cast out his demons.

Ortega also called on the international community to impose sanctions on Israel for the military action in Gaza.
"Prime Minister Netanyahu appears to be possessed by the devil, he needs Pope Francis to exorcise it, to become appeased,” Ortega was quoted by Globovision as saying.
"Why doesn't anyone condemn or sanction the state of Israel?" wondered the president of Nicaragua. In his opinion, Palestine is the victim of "madness" on the part of the Israeli leader, who seeks to “annihilate the Palestinian people.”
For Ortega, Israel is “committing genocide” in the Gaza Strip, a crime so “terrible that it is only comparable to the crimes of the Nazis."
Personal attacks against Netanyahu have grown since the start of Israeli army operation against Gazans on July 8, RT reported.
On Thursday, the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan stated in one of the strongest-worded attacks on the Israel, that in its military campaign in Gaza and genocide against Palestinians, Israel is demonstrating a “Hitler-like fascism.”
Friday's death toll in Gaza surpasses 100, Ma’an reported citing medical sources, with at least 40 killed in intense shelling of Rafah. The deaths bring the total to more than 1,600 as well as nearly 9,000 injured.

I'm confused. Are you saying the church has protested all the other genocides going on in the world now and in the past, but for some strange selective reason has not protested that of Gaza?
