A Church kicking out Seniors

to make room for 'young members'?

It seems a Methodist Church is telling the members that in order to reach a younger population the older population needs to stop meeting in June and leave for at least 2 years while the church is reimaged for young people, starting in the fall. The older people can then reapply to attend, if they submit to the new order of church function. Is that even legal to say nothing of how ruthless and unkind.

In 1999 the local SDA church got all the young adults together and got them fired up to build a church with a full stage and concerts all the time and a TV broadcasting network and all sorts of worldly endeavors. Then they held a vote, and the grandchildren of the elders who built that church stole it away from them, took away the SDA title, put the church 2.3 Million dollars into debt, built a massive gymnasium as the first phase and they started to espouse Jesuit Spiritual Formation for their first public outreach. When confronted on this issue, namely presenting a public reading of a "Purpose Driven Life" which espouses Jesuit Spiritual formation they immediately went on the offensive. They secretly baptized homosexuals and young adults living in sin, unrepentant. When the housing bubble burst that $3 million church was worth less than half of debt and when they refuse to let that pastor keep the tithe for a higher wage, he laughed as he left the building saying "I never accepted ordination in the SDA church and look what I accomplished". He was gloating in the damage he had done, yet they stil embrace that man as if he is some kind of hero to the progressives.

By the way, they are still in the gym, the TV network never realized, not even the administration offices. They did more damage to the church in this area than any Jesuit led organization could have, or did.

They have their homosexual baptisms in secret with no one else invited, which is against the doctrines of our faith. EVERYONE is supposed to be invited. They invite women who claim to be pastors preach there. They have fully realized their dream and the number of believers has not grown around here for over a decade.

Sounds like the Willow Creek system was implemented and we see the results..
