Yes, it's getting pretty close to home as well. British Columbia, Canada!
Quite a few friends and even relatives have gone through evacuation when fires loomed close by. Two towns have suffered severe fire damage and many others are fighting to keep the fires from destroying their place or town.
Rain seems to be in short supply out there and BC is burning.
