Just temp banned on Cheiarian forums

I was just temp banned on Christian forums for defending Ellen White and the SDA church.

There is a user there who goes by Adventist Heretic who starts thread after thread attacking Ellen White and the church. He flat out lies about our church pioneers and the church, I've been defending her by posting from her writings about love for God and how we are to love our fellow man. I got warnings before but then they moved to closing a thread I started defending her. I offered to defend any statement she made. I was doing it too, and then the thread was closed.

Then another ex SDA started another thread attacking her. I was defending her the same was by showing fr4om her writings that she was governed by love for God and the devil never has his agents defend God and his character so Ellen White was not who he was claiming her to be when the original guy showed up on the thread and again attacked and said she was the sole reason for any problems in the church. I responded to that by calling him a liar and showed the evidence from Thoughts from the Mount Blessings. That was all it took to get me banned. I PMed the mod that contacted me about the warning, and he wouldn't respond to my defense of myself as to the constant goading and lying by the AH guy.

Its hard to love one that is attacking the people of God, and yet Christ asks that of us. We have to lovingly show them the truth of the matter, and do it with kindness, and thats very hard unless God comes in and helps. Now just a little note, on some forums they are banning SDA members for spreading 'Adventist Propaganda', and even stranger reasons.

I understand that. I was just pointing out that the bias is getting worse because Christian forums has had strict rules in place for unacceptable behavior for a long time. Now they are enforcing them in a one sided manner.

I had someone call me a liar multiple times in one thread over a particular point. And when I finally responded in a way that could have been construed as being an attack a mod gave me a warning. I replied to him and pointed out that my post was to someone who regularly insulted me and called me a liar. He reversed the warning.

This is the same mod who wouldn't even answer me when I defended myself to him. Making Ellen White look good enrages them.

What I always consul is to let it go, just like water on a ducks back. Evil will always try to snare you but Christ will give you the power to rebuke it with no rancor, or anger or harsh words, just doctrine at best.
(Just for discloser, I was a moderator there with Daryl, and 'Adventist Heretic' is well known to both of us, he was called 'IceDragon' in the SDA forum section back then, and just an instigator IMHO)

I let it go for a long time. I don't see defending Ellen White like I do defending myself. Someone wants to call me a liar it's pretty much have at it. I grew up being lied about on a pretty consistent basis by my own family, and got whippings because I wouldn't back down over truth. I would stand up for what's right no matter what. That would enrage my old man and he'd whip me.

I don't credit myself for that. It's something God put in me. I do it as naturally as I breathe. I'v always stood up for the underdog too. I was bullied a lot by family and the kids I went to school with and that kind of behavior always made me mad so I'd stand up for the person being bullied. I see attacking Ellen White when she isn't around to defend herself as the same kind of behavior so if I'm going to get mad about something I'll get mad about that.
