I am passing along a prayer request for Rich and Heidi.

Yesterday afternoon Richard was up at Pugwash with Paul Uffindell.

They were out in the woods on the four wheelers and some how Richard ended up breaking his Left lower leg.

He broke both bones (Tibia and Fibula) and also caused really damage to the knee area (sounds like he possibly shattered the Tibial
Plateau. They need to take bone from his hip to do the repair).

Heidi said that it took about 3 hours to get him out of the woods and then another 3 hours to get him to the Moncton Hospital.

He is possibly in surgery as I am writing this or just out.

The orthopedic doctor has told him that he has a #5 brake out the 6 for seriousness.

Heidi said that he leg swelled so much that it was the size of two of hers.

He is suppose to have an external cast on and we are looking at a long road for recovery.

He should be back home in Halifax by the end of the week, not sure if it will be the hospital or home home.

Please could you all keep both of them in your prayers.

This is Richard's fist time in the hospital and he is a little nervous, not to mention in a lot of pain.

Thank You for getting Richard safely out of the woods and into the hospital.

I now ask you to place Your healing hands so to speak on Richard's leg and mend those broken bones.

Be with both Richard and Heidi during this time in their lives.
