Two men in the field, one is 'taken' in the harvest, the other receives the Mark of the Beast #193602

Why do our Modern SDA pastors teach the exact opposite than the Testimonies do on this subject?

[Linked Image]

Quote
"Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left." (Luke 17:36) The righteous and the wicked are to be associated together in the work of life. But the Lord reads the character, He discerns who are obedient children who respect and love His commandments. The one shall be taken. His name shall stand in the book of life, while those with whom he associated shall have the mark of eternal separation from God. {9MR 137.3}

Strongs Concordance says that the word used for "taken", the Greek word paralambano means to "receive something transmitted"; or to "join to one's self" to the message. This fits perfectly with what Sister White says that to be taken means to have your name remain in the book of life and be part of the angelic harvest. But the pastors of our denomination today say that the ones who are "taken" are the wicked who die at the second coming of Christ, contradicting the Testimonies of Christ. Is this acceptable? While they are correct that this has nothing to do with a secret rapture, they are trying so hard to disassociate themselves from the Rapture Theory that they are neglecting the Testimonies here and shame the message, causing confusion.

The ones that are taken are marked for Christ in the Harvest. They reject the mark of the beast and will be taken as prisoners by the wicked for rejecting the Mark of the Beast. Those who accept the Mark will be left to continue to work in the field and be able to buy and sell.

Now, look at the context of where this is listed in the scripture. Matthew 24:28 & Luke 17:37 is following the timeline of events that will occur just before the second coming of Christ. In Matthew 24 Verse 3 the disciples ask what the "sign of the end" would be, and Jesus responds by giving a series of events that first correspond the to the destruction of Jerusalem, then with the end of the world, and He concludes by giving the very last sign before the Mark of the Beast.

The end of Luke 17 is the perfect example of what I was inspired to convey here.

Quote

32Remember Lot's wife. 33Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it. 34 I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left. 35There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken and the other left. 37And they said to him, "Where, Lord" He said to them, "Where the corpse is, there the eagle will gather."

Pope Francis is the Jesuit "CORPSE" of Matthew 24:28 & Luke 17:37. Jesuits swear an oath to be "perinde ac cadaver" or to be "like a CORPSE" to do the will of the pope. Pope John Paul II made the Jesuits reaffirm this oath before permitting them back into Rome.

This is a direct quote from 'the Extreme Oath of the Jesuits' which was on record at the US library of congress until it was stolen.
Quote
I do further promise and declare, that I will have no opinion or will of my own, or any mental reservation whatever, even as a CORPSE or cadaver (perinde ac cadaver), but will unhesitatingly obey each and every command that I may receive from my superiors in the Militia of the Pope and of Jesus Christ.

So the CORPSE is directly associated with the events to mark the ones who are taken and left. The Mark of the Beast is what sifts the wheat and the Tares, the Sheep and the Goats.

Pope Francis is the first Jesuit Pope. On the day that he was elected, God told me that he fulfills the eighth king of Revelation 17:11, the "CORPSE" that Jesus said would be the last sign before the Mark of the beast is enforced. As Matthew 24 and Luke 17 read "Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken (prisoner), and the other left. 37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body (Corpse) is, thither will the eagles be gathered together." Pope Francis was the first pope to speak from the US congress, so the eagles have gathered to the corpse.

The mark of the Beast will be enforced in Pope Francis, the eighth papal king,'s reign. He is the Jesuit CORPSE of Matthew 24 and Luke 17.
.
Teach this to your pastors in the name of Jesus. Amen.

You might answer your own "why" question if you check your concordance for the other word: aphiemi (left). Paralambano is neutral in usage, sometimes being positive, sometimes negative. As such, it is somewhat ambiguous. But aphiemi is not so ambiguous. Check it out.

Mrs. White was not making a Biblical exegetical remark in her statement, from what I can tell. She's simply following the same "paralambano" concept used in John 14:1-3--in that case, the "paralambano" is usually translated as "receive" but could be translated as "taken" as well.

The remnant are those that remain.

Blessings,

Green Cochoa.

We can receive of heaven's light only as we are willing to be emptied of self. We can discern the character of God, and accept Christ by faith, only as we consent to the bringing into captivity of every thought to the obedience of Christ. And to all who do this, the Holy Spirit is given without measure. In Christ "dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him." [Colossians 2:9, 10.] {GW 57.1} -- Ellen White.

Have you even read this quote?

Seriously, who are you, people? You could not possibly be Seventh Day Adventists because you twist the Testimonies like they are insignificant. A truly Spirit-filled child of God would listen to reason.

It is a reference to the HARVEST.

Quote
Let everyone who loves God consider that now, while it is day, is the time to work, not among the sheep already in the fold, but to go out in search of the lost and perishing ones. These need to have special help to bring them back to the fold. Now is the time for the careless to arouse from their slumber. Now is the time to entreat that souls shall not only hear the word of God, but without delay secure oil in their vessels with their lamps. That oil is the righteousness of Christ. It represents character, and character is not transferable. No man can secure it for another. Each must obtain for himself a character purified from every stain of sin. {SpTA04 5.2}
The Lord is coming in power and great glory. It will then be his work to make a complete separation between the righteous and the wicked. But the oil cannot then be transferred to the vessels of those who have it not. Then shall be fulfilled the words of Christ, "Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left." The righteous and the wicked are to be associated together in the work of life. But the Lord reads the character, he discerns who are obedient children, who respect and love his commandments. {SpTA04 5.3}
The looker-on may discern no difference, but there is One who said that the tares were not to be plucked up by human hands, lest the wheat be rooted up also. Let both grow together until the harvest. Then the Lord sends forth his reapers to gather out the tares and binds them in bundles to burn, while the wheat is gathered into the heavenly garner. The time of the judgment is a most solemn period when the Lord gathers His own from among the tares]. Those who have been members of the same family are separated. A mark is placed upon the righteous. "They shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him." Those who have been obedient to God's commandments will unite with the company of the saints in light; they shall enter in through the gates into the city, and have right to the tree of life. The one shall be taken. His name shall stand in the Book of Life, while those with whom he associated shall have the mark of eternal separation from God. {SpTA04 6.1}
The tares and wheat are now commingled, but then the one Hand that alone can separate them will give to everyone his true position. Those who have had the light of truth, and heard the warning message, heard the invitation to the marriage supper, farmer, merchant, lawyer, false shepherds who have quieted the convictions of the people, unfaithful watchmen who have not sounded the warning or known the time of night, all who have refused obedience to the laws of the kingdom of God, will have no right therein. Those who have sought an excuse to avoid the cross of separation from the world, will, with the world, be taken in the snare. They mingled with the tares from choice. Like drew to like in transgression. It is a fearful assimilation. Men choose to stand with the first rebel, who tempted Adam and Eve in Eden to disobey God. The tares multiply themselves, for they sow tares, and they have their part with the root of all sin" the devil. {SpTA04 6.2}
