I just want to say how grateful I am to have found this particular forum. There are long rows of yellow with black writing that all seem to blend together when I scroll down to see where I'm going to post.

The lights usually indicate where my speedy descent will stop.

Let's hope the light for this forum will be turned on more often!

Glad to see some people have posted. More later, as they say.

I especially liked to come here before the plug was pulled.

I would read the different testimonies and reflect on the similarity of them all.

A hurting soul searching for answers, each in their own way, and then they would be found of God, and things were not the same from that day on.

True, the details were all different, but, the basic story is the same.

Some hurt a lot more than others, yet, all hurt.
Some didn't even realize they were looking for something, yet realized it when they found it.

It just thrills when you read how God works in thre lives of His children, the love and care leap out at you as you read.

We need more here. It builds up the church when we look where we come from and where we are headed.

The last few weeks have been so busy for me. In fact, I haven't had this much to do in a long time. Our local church school has a yard sale (in the gym) once or twice a year. This year things had piled up and no one was doing the sale, so another lady at church approached me about doing it with her. She is an older lady, but together with some other helpers giving a little time here and there we have put the merchandise out, held the sale, and when we finish the last sale day on Monday, we will have to pack up what is left and send it somewhere else. It has involved so much work, but it is for a good cause. This week I am also filling in for another friend who manages an apartment complex while she is on vacation. Then this past weekend my brother-in-law, niece and nephew arrived on Thursday night and stayed the weekend. It was a pleasure to have them here as I have not seen them in 10 years. My teenage nephew was just a toddler the last time I saw him.

It seems like all I have done for the last four weeks is run, run, run, something I don't normally do. I feel as though I have been neglecting my forum responsibilities, among other things. There are things partially written in my word processor that need to be finished and posted. But by the time I get them done, they may be passe. I've hardly had time to read the forum on some days, let alone post much.

So how is all this a testimony? This evening when I could finally sit down at the computer, I found myself relaxing as I read the forum. I seldom post in the prayer forums but I enjoy reading there. I don't post much here in the testimony forum either, but I like to read. I noticed what Gerry said about missing the testimonies that were here before the forum played musical servers for awhile. (I think we have finally found a new home, warts and all!) I suppose that a lot of us could repost our testimonies. I guess that others really do read them. I'm just glad for a place that fills a need in my life when things have gotten hectic.

True sister Sutton.
When I get to feeling sorry for myself, and when the pressures of day to day life really get to me, I come herer and read of what God is/has done in the lives of His children, and it gives a proper perspective.
No matter how bad things may appear to be, no matter how far down we feel we may have fallen, He is there, watching over us and guiding as He brings us where He would have us to be.I don't remember where I read it, but Ellen White said something like this" we have nothing to fear except we forget how God has led in the past."

Our testimonies do just that, remind us how He has led in the past.

Until I started to repost mine, I had forgotten how far along the path God has led me.
To know that is a reminder that He really does care for me.

I hope those who posted their testimonies before the site went down WILL re-post them. They DO get read, Sister Linda, and they are an inspiration and an encouragement to others! I am very thankful for the ones who have already posted. Having said that, and now that I've been added as a moderator here, I'm sure it won't be long before someone asks me about my testimony, ay? Oh well... I'll get there...

So, and how hard will we have to beat the drum to get the testimonies posted?

Everybody says they will get a round toit, but for some reason, they forget to buy one.

(sigh) Guess I'll just have to pull in my im patience, chew my finger nails to the quick and wait.

FYI, patience is not one of my better suits. I'm getting there, though, thanks to all you loving, caring and relentless procrastinators (g) you.
