How can "we see in Scripture that the Sabbath itself is integrally connected with deliverance and justice".
Quote

Exodus 20:10 But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates:
20:11 For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

1. God gives us a day of rest, but its not just to us. It's a blessing we are to pass on to everyone around us.
2. It is to be a family time when we parents spend time with sons and daughters. Without a "do your work and then if there is time left" sort of situation.
3. Your servants, do they have to work 24/7? Do we rest, and expect others to work for us on that day? God loves those servants just as much as he loves the one in charge of the servants. Herein is Divine justice, the lowly servant , working under you, is to have the same rest time as you do? No partiality
Even the animals-- God thought of them as well.
