Susanna, the daughter of a couple in my church has lost 40 pounds in the last few days. They're testing her out.

Susanna's parents are asking the internet community to pray for her. They hope that the doctors don't find a terrible disease in her stomach.

Another request from our church came from the mother of Dan. He's had a rough time in a relationship (broken engagement) and his mother is very worried about him. Dan has moved to the other end of our province and is not speaking to any of his family. I understand that the pastor in the city Dan moved to has contacted him, but Dan has not gone to church. Please remember him.

Father,
You have told us that if we pray, You will hear and answer us, and we thank You for this promise to us.
Father, 2 more of Your children are the victims of the adversary, he has attacked them im the hopes of overcoming them.
Father, we claim the blood of Jesus in their behalf, the blood that was spilt for their redemption and their protection.
We ask that You cover them with Your love and rebuke the adversary, send him packing.

Please help the doctors as they attempt to discover the cause of Sue losing so much weight, Jesus, You are the great physician, and You know our bodies better than we ever will, guide the hands of healing and bring this to the resolution You would have.

Father, Dan has had happen to him that which has happened to many of Your sons, he has met rejection at the hands of one of Your daughters.
Please send someone to talk to him that he will listen to.
Let him know that it isn't the end of the world. Cover him with Your love, guide him into a better understanding of life and what it is all about.
Let him know You haven't abandoned him and that You have a plan for his life.

Be with the families of these Your 2 children, give them comfort and strength in the days ahead.
Draw them ever closer to you is my prayer in Jesus name,

An update: Susanna has colon cancer. She will be operated on this Monday. Her mother has requested a prayer circle.

Dan is still not doing well, according to reports that I have heard. I doubt he will access this forum now, but a few months ago he mentioned how he "looked in" on a prayer we had for another church member.

I'm sorry that I couldn't report better news.

We simply place both Susanna and Dan into Your hands and into Your care according to Your will.

Much better news. The doctor was wrong about Susanne's colon cancer. She only had a blockage in her intestine which was successfully removed during exploratory surgery. Dan's mother says that he's doing a lot better too...and is looking for a job.
