Paul says he's an apostle because he saw Jesus on the road to Damascus.

What is your aim Mike? Trying to prove that Ellen would have been an apostle?
...I guess if believing that makes you happier or brings you closer to God, to each his own...
Galatians 2 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
It is so hazardous to take here a little and there a little. If you put the right little's together you can make the bible teach anything you wish. //Graham Maxwell

My aim is to say Sister White was inspired in the same way Paul was. Both saw Jesus in visions and in dreams; both were called to guide the church; both were given prophetic messages, etc.
This is not to say, of course, that her books carry the same weight and authority as does Paul's epistles in the Bible. Although, I hazard to guess that Paul would be surprised to learn that his epistles are placed on par with the OT scriptures.

Hmm, so thats where our missunderstandings lie, we are talking apples and oranges.

Although, I hazard to guess that Paul would be surprised to learn that his epistles are placed on par with the OT scriptures. I think he knew.
Those who wait for the Bridegroom's coming are to say to the people, "Behold your God." The last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of His character of love.

Apples and organges?
"I like bananas. I know that mangoes are sweet. I like papayas. Papayas? But nothing can beat that sweet love of God."
PS - It's a song we sing with the youth at church.

Paul's experience on the road to Damascus was more than a vision, which is why Paul is referred to in the Bible as an apostle, however, this didn't happen to EGW, therefore, she isn't referred to as an apostle.
