At Prayer Meeting last evening somebody said something that prompted me to create this topic.
Adam was created on the 6th day.
Was Eve also created on the 6th day?
After I have received a few replies I will tell you what this person said.

Well, there was some time that passed because Adam noticed that he was alone, while the animals were in pairs. But then, he was pretty bright, so probably picked up on the that pretty quickly.

Adam was already in the garden of Eden when Eve was made from his rib. quote:
Genesis 2:18,21-25 18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

The Bible says both Adam and Eve were created on the 6th day; Genesis 1:24-31. "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them." verse 27. Then after the sixth day passed, God "blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made." Genesis 2:3. God created Eve; so she had to exist before the seventh day came along. By the time the seventh day arrived, all of God's creation work was finished. Reading Ellen White's account of these things in Patriarchs and Prophets, pages 44-48, we see the same sequence. On the sixth day Adam was created, then Eve; then God rested on the first sabbath day, the seventh day of the Creation week. "The creation was now complete. 'The heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.' 'And God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good.' Eden bloomed on earth. Adam and Eve had free access to the tree of life. No taint of sin or shadow of death marred the fair creation. 'The morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy.' Job 38:7. {PP 47.1}
"The great Jehovah had laid the foundations of the earth; He had dressed the whole world in the garb of beauty and had filled it with things useful to man; He had created all the wonders of the land and of the sea. In six days the great work of creation had been accomplished. And God 'rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.' God looked with satisfaction upon the work of His hands. All was perfect, worthy of its divine Author, and He rested, not as one weary, but as well pleased with the fruits of His wisdom and goodness and the manifestations of His glory." {PP 47.2} Both Adam and Eve observed the first sabbath, along with their Creator. The whole earth and everything in it was perfect, and our first parents were in their original sinless condition. What a day that must have been!

The Bible seems to be clear that Eve was also created on the 6th day, however, this person stated that Eve was created later, perhaps even a few years later. He even went so far to say that the male and female part in the Hebrew was in reference to Adam, as Eve was created out of a rib of Adam to explain away that verse.

Lots of people have these theories and get really hung up on them, and get others hung up on them too. I think it's probably a good idea to address them as they come up, so long as we don't become hung up ourselves; we are often surprised later to find them impacting on some big Bible truth. Many people who have started on some little thing like this have ended up losing their faith and totally apostasizing. I don't know how right now, but this could perhaps impact on creation/evolution at some time. We just need to have the Bible record straight in our own minds.

Nope, it doesn't matter, however it is something to talk about that is fun and interesting. I think sometimes we get so caught up in the serious issues that we can't enjoy the lighter or even silly issues. One of our young (20 something) church members often brightens up discussions by asking the pertinent and important question; "will we have belly buttons in heaven?" (Anyone who thinks God has no sense of humor has never looked at a platypus)

We did talk about whether Adam and Eve had belly buttons here a while back, as I recall...
and I've never seen a platypus, but a picture is enough to convince me! People back in olde England thought the early explorers were pulling a fast one on them when they first brought one back, seems like I read somewhere once.
