I agree Jan, when we applaud anti-muslim tendencies in europe, what credibility would we have if/when they turn anti-christian/sda? If Jesus had told the "good Samaritan" story today, who would have been the Samaritan? Remembering that the Samaritans where the most despised people nation the Jews had around them. Arabs/muslims are one group that qualify for that position.

"Is the schoolyard bully persecuted when a teacher punishes him/her for harrasing another kid? Was nazi Germany persecuted when US/Brittain and Russia made revenge on German soil in the late WWII? Is Iran persecuted when US/EU/Russia/UN tells it to stay away from nukes or face the consequences?"
You are completely missing the point. In Arab countries TODAY and for MANY YEARS IN THE PAST, they have been persecuting Christians, banning the freedom to worship, killing those who convert to Christianity, etc. You are comparing Christians persecuted in Arab lands to Nazis?

Ali, who do people say that I am?
Some say you are the seventh and greatest prophet, others a demon possessed pedophile.
But who do you say that I am?
A cartoon shares opinions but not facts. What are the facts about Mohammed so we can tell others who he really was.

Yes, there are points here that are missed. No, I am not comparing christinas in arab countries with anything. I am not talking about how they treat us or others, I am talking about how we treat them. I am of the oppinion that one should put ones own house in order before coming down on someone else.
Jesus died for the muslim. Who are we to despise them whom Jesus suffered for?`

Why do I insist on this approach? Becourse God will not judge me or you for what someone else does. I will be judged for what I do and you will be judged for what you do. Whats then the use of pointing fingers at others?

Good points from Scandanavia. The only thing is that we shouldn't expect non Christians to act like Christians. I don't know about over there, but we have caricatures in our newspapers everyday. Do you think people treat George Bush in a Christian way? Our vice president shot a friend this week while they were hunting. Inspite of the personal pain he must have been going through, the press had to make it the main point of the news and then attacked him for not talking about the issue for four days. The press here are nitpickers, especially if it deals with a republican.
There was a good caricature this week of the protesters. It was called, Islam means peace and the men were shouting, "Death to Israel, death to cartoonists, death to the west!"
20 years ago, I'd ask myself, "Will communism ever fall?" It did. Now it's coming back in the Americas, but the church has done its work here. Now, I ask myself, "How will Islam fall? Or wil it?"
