November 17th has come and gone without anything happening as predicted here, so do we have a new date now?
Reminds me of the failed several JW predictions of the date of the return of Jesus Christ.
Nov 17? I think you are referring to one of the date Mystery Babylon has set. This is what they had in plan, however we know that the Lord is the one that calls the shots.
As far as the initial date set from the beginning of this discussion, that in 2012 there would be a Banking restructuring. This date was set by one faction of the Kings of the East known to come from the Chinese dynastic families. Despite that their estimated date has not come to term in 2012, the past 1.5 years we did see many major progress towards this end.
No-one know the date, however the signs are all around us. The 23 countries with the BRICS having set up a new Banking system bypassing Mystery Babylon's System is already a major stepping stone towards this end. Together they represent over 60% of the world population by-passing the USD(Mystery Babylon's ponsy scheme fiat currency).
However, I'm expecting a huge announcement very soon that all the currencies of the world will be re-evaluated. All currencies settings will be adjusted to reflect their countries true assets and values. Possession of Gold will be one of the assets that will give some value, but natural resources, commodities and whatever else will also determine it. Currently Mystery Babylon has unjustly over-rated the currencies of countries they White countrol like the USA and under-rated other countries not subjected to them or have been injustly been destroyed by war.
Mystery(secret) Babylon's system has already totally fallen. The leaders of the world are no longer manipulated by them anymore. The Kings of the East have as interest to protect the population and make their steps carefully to not bring in fear.
So we'll see the remaining steps of transitions that will unfold these coming next 2 months. Really no one knows for sure how it will happen but we know by the signs that there is a restructuring happening. We also know by prophecy that the Lord's plan was to make Babylon fall and that is done in terms He has removed Mystery Babylon's power and they are by-passed.
Now what's coming up next in the Lord's agenda, is to bring the people of the world(mainly the Christians) to repentance....for it was because of them(the Christians in the US & Canada) and their forefathers who did not obey the Lord laws, statues, judgments, and His voice that the Lord sold them(because of their sins) into several captivities. Mystery Babylon being the last one of the world empires to have been given this "priviledge" rulership. See Lev 26 & Deut 28 which is the key law & text that explains the Lord's judgment of this that has been going on for the pass 3000 years. However when a country or Empire rules over the Israelites (today the Christians), the debt of the Israelites or Christians are transfered to the empire. A reasonable time frame is set to give the Empire enough time to pay the debt. At judgment time the Lord will come expecting that Empire to pay off the debt by seeing fruits employed to bless the people. We all know that Mystery Babylon's fruits aren't good, like all the other empires who have come and pass. However, let us not forget the original reason why these empires were raised -- it was because of the Israelites and Christians sins. They were the one given the laws and the commission to bless all the families of the world.
They(Israelites and Christians) didn't deliver and were put into multiples captivities, but before being fully release from this last one -- the Lord requires that they repent. It is a MUST, if not then they will be sold again, however weknow from prophecies that Mystery Babylonis the last empire.
Since they(us) cannot repent of their own self....the Lord's goodness will come and lead them(us) into repentance. Now the goodness of the Lord can/could come in calamities-plagues because of the judgment of their sins. I personally don't know nor undestand the concept of plagues much, but we will see what will unfold.

Hey! I found a value for bitcoins. It may not be a "tangible" value, but still a value. If you want to buy or sell drugs, it provides a way that is not easily untraceable. It doesn't go through the banking and reporting system. While there may not be real value, people see a value to the use of it and therefore, it may last longer than most schemes.
As far as "backed" by local currency? Buy Rate: $1147.58 Sell Rate: $898.15

What is the current currency of the US Dollar based on? I assume the answer is still GOLD.

Currency is traded on the open market according to the perceived value placed on it by its sellers and buyers at any given moment, and is linked to the productivity of your economy and your financial policy.
Let's say you are making salt and selling a pound of it for one stone. Every time you sell a pound, you earn a stone from the market. And because you have a product that has a sure and stable market, your stones will have a stable and sure value. Because you're selling your salt in your stone, the buyers must pay in their own currency for stone in order to buy your salt. On the currency market therefore, a stone will be set at a price according to the amount of stone you have at your disposal to issue, because everybody wants YOUR STONE in order to buy what they need, YOUR SALT. You have the freedom to issue more or less stones according to the push and pull of the market to maximize your profit. All you need to be is a highly productive and valued economy.
No one uses the gold standard anymore.

Yes, the value of the bitcoin is always quoted in US dollars. It means it is bought and sold according to how many dollars others are willing to give you for it, in order for you to buy goods and services. It is not yet a common currency, though some places have advertised that they are willing to accept it. Until then, your stash of it is nothing more than an interesting idea.

Sorry been busy. The news has been repeating the same old news which was not worthy to post.
Now there is some new "scandal" in regards to world economic affairs. I don't think they will get away with this, and it probably will backfire and will serve it's purpose to get the people more aware of the nature of Mystery Babylon and further distrusting her.
TPP – Wikileaks has released another bombshell!
Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is a deal that currently Obama is trying to make with a handfull of International corporation to set the corporation the ability to create a new set of rules regulating 12 countries(US, Canada, Australia, Japan, S.Korea, etc...).
It is not a free trade deal, but the reality it is a giant monster give away deal that gives the corporation the ability to sue the countries for regulation they do not like. It would allow the corporation monopoly to expand.
In brief the TPP would sacrifice whatever counrties sovereignty left, internet freedom, and public health all in the name in helping private corporation.
This deal is being set almost entirely in secret. Notice that the media doesn't say much about this as they want this to go through without the people knowing and resisting it.

Just saw this which help me understand how the system work. This is a very good explanation how the currencies system works. How currencies (not the same as money) are created via government, central banks, fractional reserve lending from banks and it's relation with tax, debt ceiling, and inflation. This scenario isn’t exclusive to the Federal Reserve in the USA, but provides clarity to how all central banks worldwide operate under a fiat currency system. This video doesn't focuss on any political party or nation. It is just an simple explanation of the currency system and how countries end up in debts.
From the 1.20 to 18:24 minute mark you will have the steps explained in a more detail fashion. At the 18:24 to 22 minute mark you have a recap of all that was covered from the beginning.
It takes a lot of the mysteries out of the complexe sytem. By making the system complex, it is how they were able to confiscate the wealth from the people.
