What did you do, or what are you doing on Canada Day 2009, which, of course, is on July 1st of each year?

Last evening in Wallace, NS had a piece or two of the Canada Cake and also saw some wonderful fireworks.
This morning in Pugwash, NS we saw a very nice Canada Day parade and plan to see some more fireworks later in the evening.

I did happen to note that it was "Canada Day"! on July 1st. I was in town that day and people were gearing up for our 4th of July and purchasing stuff for barbecues, picnics and camping. Of course there are fireworks stands in vacant lots. I was just thankful that I don't live in town. Happy Canada Day to our neighbors!
