You may have seen the news item, Thursday in our area:

Two men, one 16 and the other 27 were arrested for attempted bank robbery.

NOTE: I thought it was in PA, but my wife tells me it happened in CN.

When the two drove into the parking lot of the bank, the police were waiting them and immediately arrested them.

About 10 minutes prior to driving into the parking lot, one of the two had telephoned the bank, informed the bank that they would shortly come to rob the bank and to be sure and have a large bag of money ready to give them!

My thought: If there had been a shoot-out it would have been worthy of a Darwin Award.
