I don't know who all believes in the Secret Rapture doctrine, however, I am aware that this is a belief of Baptists, Gospel Hall, and Pentecostals.
Does anybody know when, where, and by who it originated?

It is my understanding that the "Secret Rapture" theory has multiple proponents back into history, but that its earliest beginnings date back to Francisco Ribera (1537-1591), a Jesuit doctor of theology. Essentially, he was tasked with reinterpreting the scriptures in order to prove that the anti-Christ beast in Revelation is not the papacy, and so he formulated the futurist interpretation of the prophecies, as opposed to the historicist model. As part of his reinterpretation of Daniel's prophecies, he cut off the last week and placed it at the time of the end--a seven last years' period. Others helped fill in the secret rapture theory into those seven years. A reasonable account of the progression of this theory appears here: http://www.secret-rapture.com/Blessings, Green Cochoa.
We can receive of heaven's light only as we are willing to be emptied of self. We can discern the character of God, and accept Christ by faith, only as we consent to the bringing into captivity of every thought to the obedience of Christ. And to all who do this, the Holy Spirit is given without measure. In Christ "dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him." [Colossians 2:9, 10.] {GW 57.1} -- Ellen White.

GC, The link that you provided says the following: In early 1830, a 15 year old Scottish Girl called Margaret McDonald had visions that included a Secret Rapture of believers before the appearance of the Antichrist. Edward Irving (1792-1834) who was her Scottish Presbyterian pastor and forerunner of the Charismatic and Pentecostal movements, attended prophecy conferences that began in Dublin Ireland also in 1830 at Powerscourt Castle where he promoted the doctrine of the Secret Rapture as per her vision.
Do you have something in regards to what you posted about "its earliest beginnings date back to Francisco Ribera (1537-1591), a Jesuit doctor of theology."?

Oops!!! I found this later on, which answers my own question: In order to divert attention away from the Roman Catholic Church as the antichrist power, a new interpretation would have to be found. This was done by rejecting the true “Historical” interpretation and accepting a false “Futurist” interpretation proposed by a Jesuit doctor of theology, Francisco Ribera (1537-1591).

If what has been posted here and in the referenced links are true, then is this one of the false doctrines that Christ warned us about? Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Does anybody know when, where, and by who it originated? Which one? There are multiple rapture doctrines... ...And only one of them is correct. ...And it isn't what the Baptists teach.

Are there also multiple Secret Rapture doctrines? Dozens of them - post trib, pre trib, mid trib with one, two, and more raptures within the same doctrine.... ...Spent a couple months just looking at this. ...Easily proven false by Sister White.
