We don't know when the judgment on the living begins.
The important thing is to live daily in right relationship with Christ.
We don't even know if we will be alive tomorrow.
Today is the day of salvation, harden not your hearts. Amen to living daily in a right relationship with Christ and not knowing if we will be alive tomorrow. We can know, however, that the judgment of the living will have taken place prior to the actual 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ in that He brings His reward with Him, therefore, the judgment of the living will both begin and end prior to that.

Stands to reason people must pass the final test before they can be judged. They must demonstrate to the onlooking Universe they will not receive the Mark of the Beast. They are numbered and sealed the instant they are judged and found worthy of eternal life.

A mark is a sign (or seal).
A sign of a relationship with someone.
The mark of the beast, identifies people who are looking to the "beast" as their authority.
The mark or seal of God, identifies people who look to Jesus as their guide, authority and Savior.
Now obviously a lot of internal work is necessary, which in the end will help determine what we will choose.
And the last great test will be something that can be seen. It will also show Who has our loyalties.
The test will concern a matter that involves worship and this in turn will include acknowledging the authority of the
