It has occured to me that probably many of our local congregations are attempting to reach people through the media to include the Internet. On that assumption, I was thinking that it might be well to begin a thread where these events could be publicized. I will start it off: The Boulder, Colorado (USA) congregation is live-streaming their services. They have a contemporary service that begins at 9 AM Mountain Time. That is followed by a Sabbath School service which is devoted to basic SDA beliefs and then again at shortly after 11 AM a traditional SDA service. I have been watching the 1st service today, as I am in the hospital where I work as a chaplain. https://new.livestream.com/bouldersdachurch is the basic URL Once you are at the home page click on live events and that should get you into whatever is going onnow. IOW, right now that will get you into the SS lesson.

Somehow the above URL does not seem to directly work. So, please copy the below into your search: https://new.livestream.com/bouldersdachurchIt seems that the above works. Just click on it and then on the Livestream icon on your screen to go the what is being live-streamed now.

The Boulder chruch has just begun this new aspect of ministry. Sabath they had some problems that casued the broadcasting not to work exactly as intended. The result was that it began working late.

The problem has been indentified in which sometimes the service is live and sometimes it is dalayed. That problem exists on the Boulder Church end. When Boulder goes on line to broadcast the person setting it up programs whether or not the service will be broadcast live, or whether it will be delayed. That choice in the setup is not immediately clear and not understood by the people setting it up.
Therefore, last Sabbath, the early morning service, as I understand it, was programed to be delayed, in error by the person setting it up.
Folks, all of our people are volunteers. They are on a learning curve. There are a number of things that we are discovering need our attention, on which this is only one. We have discovered some other things that we need to work on.

Today, Sabbath, December 15, 2012, the boulder church will have a special Christmas service. Log on to our website to view this service live, of at a later time.
During this service the choir will be composed of the combined choirs of the Boulder congregation and another local church.
This is really a special service
Gregory May God's will be done.
