This is a pretty good in-dept gardening business seminar given by Scott Arrington from Georgia.

Scott, a SDA, has been into learning all about gardening over 10 years. He is a walking proof of what he preach making a living selling his produce at the market.

He's a firm believer that SDA should be doing this more since this is our health message. His moto is "the food can only be as good as the ground it came from". So he provides lots of information how to build the soil which its corner stone lies in its microbial population that insure a good symbiotic relationship with the roots of the plants each giving something in exchange. The plants exude food for the microbes, and the microbes mines the minerals the plants needs while protecting the roots from harmful nematodes and other benefits.

He goes in dept with much of the science behind the reason for qualifying certain farm practices versus others. He's very practical giving pointers what equipment needed depending on the scale of your operation and using resources around your area. Anyway, this is quite good information covering all about how to be successful for a small family farming business.

I just wanted to add that this lecture is not only for small family business, but also applies for someone who wants to grow their own food, or anyone who wants to start their first little garden.

Anyway, the video talks about this possibility to have this at your local church by which would give an employment for someone and at the same time PR for the Church.
