I came across a quote by Ellen White on where it talks about the Sons of God, take a look.
"The Scriptures declare that upon one occasion, when the angels of God came to present themselves before the Lord, Satan came also among them, (Job 1:6) not to bow before the Eternal King, but to further his own malicious designs against the righteous." {GC (1888/1911): 518}
Job 1
King James Version (KJV)
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
So who were the 'Sons of God' from scripture...

In relation to Job 1:6, Ellen White seems to be equating the "sons of God" as the "angels of God." I came across a quote by Ellen White on where it talks about the Sons of God, take a look.

Notice that in the Bible and Ellen White, Satan was listed separate from the sons of God. He was not one of them, but came also among them. So it can be readily understood that the sons of God include the holy angels, but not the fallen ones.
It also includes all among us who follow Christ in faith and in obedience to His commandments (those who receive Christ).

That question us usually ask by someone who reads in Genesis 6:2 about the 'sons of God' and the daughters of men. Some churches teach that they are aliens or angels that mate with those human women and conceive giants. It is hard to get them over that.

This is a strange view held by some. It shows some of the effects of a wrong view of inspiration.
