His Death doesn't save us. Interesting. Say more! By the way, I agree with you. It was necessary, but the death alone is insufficient. Something more has to happen.

For many reasons. But consider this: Romans 5:10 We were God's enemies, but he made us his friends through the death of his Son. Now that we are God's friends, how much more will we be saved by Christ's life! How does Jesus's death make us his friends? One big reason is that we perceive what the real cause of all death and destruction is. It is not God, but sin.

Hm - so what else, Christ death - what did it accomplish - it draws all to Him - the world would be lighted up - Satan's hold on men was broken - the defaced image of God in man can now be restored - the believing saints will inherit a heavenly home - He became the propitiation of the sins of man - [God did not need to be propitiated] - the love of God was manifested to the universe. - the prince of this world is cast out - the accusations of Satan are refute - destroy the works of the devil - angels are drawn to the redeemer - He is drawing ALL Note - one major thing is missing from the list...
