Hey Child - do the plagues come before or after the close of probation? You should consult Ellen. Is the foundation laid that climaxes in the 7 last plagues? Or do the 7 last plagues mysteriously spontaneously arise? "The days in which we live are solemn and important. The Spirit of God is gradually but surely being withdrawn from the earth. Plagues and judgments are already falling upon the despisers of the grace of God. The calamities by land and sea, the unsettled state of society, the alarms of war, are portentous. They forecast approaching events of the greatest magnitude. {Ev 31.5} Our own course of action will determine whether we shall receive the seal of the living God or be cut down by the destroying weapons. Is global warming a foretaste of what is to come during the last plagues? Or is it an unrelated fluke that has nothing to do with anything? To many, scientific research has become a curse. God has permitted a flood of light to be poured upon the world in discoveries in science and art; but even the greatest minds, if not guided by the Word of God in their research, become bewildered in their attempts to investigate the relations of science and revelation. {GC88 522.2}

Does God cause the last plagues. A number here on the forum think so. Did God cause the plagues of Egypt? A number on this forum think so. Wasn't that covered in my post? Before you can say is it a foretaste, you have to show that it's happening. Can you? How would you go about it? What would you compare it to, to determine whether warming, cooling, or following a repeating pattern? Kland, As it was in Noah's day, when it was raining there was no doubt. Be patient a little longer. When we can prove it without a doubt it will be to late to do anything. And what was preventable will cause human suffering everywhere.
