My husband and I have just found out that our son is going to be a big brother in February. Please pray for me that this will be a good pregnancy. I have been having a bit of nauseated feelings lately, but I haven't actually gotten sick. This is the miserable time for me, I was the same way with our son. Thank you for your prayers! ------------------ God bless! Angie

Father, we thank you for the many blessings you see fit to bestow upon us. The warm days of summer, the cool evenings of Autumn and the promise of life in spring. As we contemplate the arrival of this new life, help us to remember the new life that can be ours now. Bless Angie and her little family, give them and especially her strength in the days ahead. Guide the little life that is growing in her, help the doctors as they work with them and, by your grace, ay this little one be healthy and strong. Thank you Father, for hearing us. In Jesus precious name, Amen ------------------ Is what you're living for worth Christ dying for? Gerry B.

We got to hear our beautiful baby's heartbeat a couple weeks ago! What a miracle that is! I thank God every day that He saw fit to give us another child. I am also thankful that I haven't had as many complications with this pregnancy. I can't wait to see this gorgeous child! It's just too bad that it takes 9 months for this child to grow. I'm impatient to see him/her. We don't know if it's a girl or a boy, but we will definitely try to find out. We won't take unnecessary tests just to find that out, but we will try to find out when I have my ultrasound. I am kinda hoping for a girl, but I will be VERY hapy with either one. Thanks for your prayers and I will surely tell all of you if/when we find out the sex of the baby. ------------------ God bless! Angie

I went to my second appointment yesterday and I am pleased to say that our baby has a heartbeat of 150/min. I will be going in a month to get an ultrasound. I am so excited! We are hoping to find out the sex of the baby then. I was also told by the midwife that I will be able to have this baby naturally, barring complications. We were worried about this because I had our son by c-section and we weren't sure how the incision on my uterus was. But, the midwife has told me that there should be no problems. YAY!! Praise GOD!!! Thanks for your prayers! Plese continue to pray for me. ------------------ God bless! Angie

Well, this Friday is the day! I hope and pray all goes well. We really want to find out the sex of the baby, but if we can't it'll be okay. I'll be at my parents' house this weekend, so I probably won't get back here until Monday morning. You might hear from my dad first, tho. ------------------ God bless! Angie

Well, I hope you have chosen a boy's name too, just in case. There is really only one way to know for sure the gender of the unborn baby, and that is DNA testing by amniocentesis. I know of couples who were told that their baby was definitely, beyond a shadow of a doubt of a certain gender, only to discover just the opposite upon delivery! ------------------ The Lord is the strength of my life and my portion forever.

Angie, Hi & congratulations. As far as nausea try candied ginger pieces. They are hot to chew and swallow but have been researched a lot and found safe enough for ... you guessed it pregnant women. Thanks all, for your prayers! I am not having morning sickness anymore. Now, I am having weird food cravings. The main one that I am having is "Kosher Dill Pickles and Chocolate Milk." It sounds really gross at times, but at other times, I just can't live without it! I had it just last night. If it wasn't apparent before, it is now that I'm pregnant. I can't think of anyone who would eat something like that unless they were pregnant! Yes, we've chosen a boy's name in case the tech was wrong. If this one IS a boy, he will be named Caleb Ryan. ------------------ Smile, God is on your side! Angie

Well, I went for an appointment yesterday and so far, I have gained 11 pounds. This is a good thing, because I was slightly overweight (according to the doc) before I got pregnant. I have been having my "practice" contractions at least twice a day, now. Sometimes, if I'm shopping, I have more, but they go away when I sit down or drink something. I've only got about 6 weeks left to go, I think. It's either six or seven weeks. I can't wait! Thanks for praying for me, have a wonderful new year, y'all! ------------------ God bless! Angie

I went for an appointment yesterday, and the doctor I saw told me that I'm measuring large for how far along I am. I'm at 34 weeks, and should be measuring 34 cm, but I'm actually measuring at 38 cm. The doctor said she was going to talk to my midwife and that my midwife might decide to schedule another ultrasound to make sure all is well. I won't know for another two weeks, unless it's a major concern for Katie, my midwife. Please continue to pray for me. Thanks so much! ------------------ God bless! Angie

I went for an appointment yesterday and was told that I'm still measuring 3 cm large. I have to go in on Wednesday to have an ultrasound to find out why she's measuring large. I also found out that there is a slim possibility that I may not be able to have this baby naturally, either. My midwife told me that I seem a bit narrow to allow a baby to bass thru. If this is the case, I will have a scheduled c-section. I really don't want that, but if it's in God's plan, then I can't really argue, can I? Thank you for your continued prayers and please be praying for me when I go in on Wed. My appointment is at 9 am EST. God bless and Happy Sabbath! Angie

Well, all went well with the ultrasound. We are still having a girl and she was about 6# 10oz on Wednesday. I saw the doctor that afternoon and she told me that there is no real reason I'm measuring large (no twins or anything like that) but my amniotic fluid is a bit low, but nothing to worry about. The doctor I saw also said that I shouldn't have a problem delivering naturally. So, I'm pretty happy about that. Also, I had a culture done at my last appointment for the strain of strep that pregnant women can pass on to their babies during labor and delivery, and I tested positive for that. I was told there's nothing to worry about, as long as I have IV antibiotics during labor/delivery. Now, I'm going thru pregnancy blahs. I just want her to come and I don't want to wait any longer. This is the hardest part for me, because with my son, I was late, and I guess I'm just feeling like she's going to be late as well. I hope and pray I can get over these blahs soon! Thanks for your prayers and I'll keep you all updated. ------------------ God bless! Angie

Well, I'm back home and finally able to take a few minutes to tell all the world that I can about our little girl. Here are the exact specifics: Amber Madison was born at 1:22 pm (est) and weighed in at 7 lbs 8 oz and was 21 inches long. She has black hair and gray eyes. I was in labor for 20 hours this time. I must go, for now, I have many other messages to send out about our new little bundle. Thank you for your prayers for my little girl. ------------------ God bless! Angie

You can post it in the fellowship hall. The IMG code is allowed there. What you need to do Gerry, is to upload it to your own webspace, that your internet server provides for you. Then you put the URL in your post like this: My boys showed me how to do this, and I still check with them to make sure I'm getting it right before I post, if I haven't done it for awhile. ------------------ The Lord is the strength of my life and my portion forever.

Um... it looks like you'll have to click on "edit" to see the command for putting up a photo. Anyway, while it appears that it would work here, Daryl probably doesn't want photos in this forum, so if you post it you should put it in the fellowship hall. If you don't know how to upload a photo to your own web space, and you don't have any computer geek sons to tell you what to do, like I do, then you maybe you could send it to Daryl & have him put it on, or else send it to me and I'll put it on my web space. I don't have all that much on mine, and if I ever decide to put a lot of stuff on the 'net, I'll probably need more space from a free server anyway. Then I'll have to ask my sons what to do. It's handy having them around, but I don't know what I'm going to do when they grow up and move away. I doubt that I will have learned everything I might want to do on the computer by then.

Hard to believe, but she's already a month old! It doesn't seem like it's been that long since she was born! I am healing nicely from the delivery. She tore me quite a bit, and all seems to be well, now. I go to the doc for my 6 week checkup on the 3rd. I don't think there will be any problems, tho. If there are, God will take care of me. I'm breastfeeding her exclusively, and she is thriving very well. She seems sometimes to spit up more than I feed her, then she eats more. That's frustrating, but I manage. She's too young to sleep thru the night yet, so I am awakened at 11, 2, 4, and then we are awake from 6 am on. I don't get much sleep, and sometimes I forget my own name, but that'll get better, too. Anywho, just thought you all might like to know how things are going with Amber. ------------------ God bless! Angie

Wow! She's two months old and went for her check-up yesterday. She went from 37 cm head circumference to 40 cm. Her height went from 20 3/4 inches to 23 1/4 inches. Her weight was the most surprising, though. She went from 8 lbs 10 oz to 12 lbs 9 oz. The first measurements were when she was two weeks old. She's bigger than my son was when he was two months old! Anyway, just thought you all would like to know about her. ------------------ Blessed is he... whose hope is in the Lord his God. Psalms 146:5 Angie

Well, now she's three months old. She is getting bigger everyday. The most wonderful feeling in the world is knowing that my body is giving her the nourishment she needs to grow, and watching it happen. She rolls over from tummy to back and from back to tummy. She smiles, laughs, coos, and tries to crawl. I can't believe she's three months old! It still seems like yesterday. Well, my princess is almost 7 months old now. I took her to the doc the other day for her 6 month checkup and she weighs 17lbs 4 oz. and is 27 inches tall. Hard to believe it's been almost 7 months now. She's crawling and even has stood up by furniture a few times. Two days ago, I found her first tooth. What a surprise! I was beginning to think she wouldn't get teeth. My son had six teeth by the time he was 6 months old. You can understand why I thought this, right? I just wanted to let you all know how she was doing. God bless you all and please continue to pray for the USA in this time of tragedy. Well, in just 9 days, my little baby will be a year old! Can you believe it!? It doesn't seem like it's been that long! She is growing a lot and walks, talks a bit, and gets into QUITE a bit of trouble with her brother. She can tell me when she wants her bottle and tells us no all the time. She likes to eat pizza, spaghetti, and garlic bread. She is such a blessing to us! I thank God for her everyday. God bless! Angie
