Hi. I have a friend, Angele, who is having some worries in her pregnancy. Maybe it's just a bad day for her, but she could really use the extra prayer right now. She has not yet felt her baby move and is concerned, but everything else seems normal - including the baby's heartbeat. I ask that you add her to your prayers that God will lead in their lives and cover her with His love to enable her to put her fears and trust in Him completely.

Father in heaven, our Maker and our God:

I thank You for this rich promise that can go to the root of a pregnant Mom's fears; and I pray that You will, according to Your Word, pour out your Spirit upon Angele's offspring; and as baby Jesus was filled with grace while yet in the womb; fill her developing little one with the life current that will make her grow like the lush willows on the riverbanks...And may her baby soon give Mom a kick... just once or twice...

Last night and this morning, we are praising God!!! Angele got a call last night to tell her she has an ultrasound this morning at 11:30 a.m. (Winnipeg time - central?, 2 hours behind the clock here!) This is a wonderful thing! We are praying that all is okay and thanking God for this opportunity to make sure.

PRAISE GOD!! Angele thanks you for your prayers, and wanted to make sure that I give you an update . . . She had the ultrasound and everything is good. She has felt the baby move - it's just kicking and punching her back so she didn't recognize it! The baby looks healthy, normal and active. We continue to thank God that He hears our prayers and answers them before we ask. We also stand in awe that He cares so much about us as to provide an immediate way to calm a mother's fears about her unborn child.

As a man I can not begin to understand the consternation and fear in the heart of this young mother.
As a father and grandfather, I remember the times you were with me as my wife went through tough pregnancies, You gave the strength and the calmness to get through it.
I ask, Father, that You would calm this mothers heart and mind, guide the doctors as they work with this situation, protect them all, give them wisdom and give this young mother peace and calmness.
Help her to know Your presence and to draw strength from You.

Hello everyone, just wanted to update you here and again request your renewed prayers. Angele is nearing her due date, and is quite ready to give birth and it appears the little one may be getting eager as well. I ask that you pray for her that her delivery will be an easy one, that all will go well and both mother and child will emerge healthy.

Also, please pray that it is a natural birth and that the baby comes soon because if it goes too much overdue, they will probably just to a c-section and Angele really wants to avoid that if possible.

Well, Sarah, is there a new life in this world, yet? I always love to hear about women who have or are about to give birth. God makes a miracle out of every new baby. It never ceases to amaze me how a woman can have a child grow inside of her and then to deliver that child into the world. I went thru a cesarean section and then a natural delivery and it was one of the most exhilarating feelings in the world. May God protect your friend and her baby as the time sraws near.

Heavenly Father,
I pray now that you will protect your children in this situation. Please give Sarah's friend the natural delivery she is hoping for, if it is your will. Keep her baby safe. Please come soon!

Well, Angele has gone into labour as of late last night and is waiting for it to progress more fully. Please keep her in your prayers as she needs them.

Lord Jesus, I pray that you will give Angele peace of mind and the wisdom to make the decisions that will be best for her and her child. I pray that you will give her and her new child health. At this moment, I pray that Angele will have rest so that she will have the strength needed for delivery.

I thank you Jesus for You know the beginning from the end, have formed us in our mothers wombs and love each of us from the point of conception onward. I can't wait to meet one of Your newest creation!
