I heard from my best friend this morning that her first husband, the father of her 2 grown daughters, has committed suicide. Her daughters are in a state of shock over this. Terry also leaves behind a widow and an 8 year old son. Please pray for my friend's 2 daughters, and for the widow and young son. ------------------

Dear Heavenly Father, My heart breaks as I write this. Such a tragedy. Please Lord. Comfort these people in their loss. Shelter them in your arms and help them to draw on your strength to get through this tragic time. Thank you Lord, In Jesus name I pray, Amen. Wendy

Lord, please give this family peace. Only you can carry them through their grief at this time. Please alleviate the guilty feelings and recriminations that they are suffering from. Make your presence known to them Lord. Send them someone to touch their hearts through their grief so they may know that they are not alone in their pain but that you are there. May your blessings be upon all who are touched by this suicide. May your love and peace be with them through their pain so that when they can feel again they can look back and know that You were there with them. Thank you Jesus. ------------------

Father,
In senseless times as these, we ask many questions, but, mainly we ask why.
Why does a young person feel that the only answer to lifes problems is to take their life.
We don't know, Father, but You do.
Please, Father, be with those that have been left behind, give them strength that can only come from You.
Let them know Your presence, Your love and Your strong right arm upholding through this period of suffering and grief.
Impress on them that You are with them and let them know they are not responsible for what has happened.
Guilt can cause so much grief, give them of Your rest, hold them in Your loving and protecting arms.
In Jesus precious name,
Amen
