I taught Lisa at church school when I was a teachers aid. We had a great rapore between us.

Lisa is in her 20's now, and going blind.

She is not accepting this very well.

Today she was told her eyes had deterioated, and she locked herself in her room all day. Tonight she left the house and drove away in her car.
Her parents are very concerned for her safety.

I thank you for your prayers on her behalf.

Our Dear Heavenly Father,

How wonderful and precious is Your Holy Name!

We bring before you a created being of Your's who fears becoming a blind person. We take so many things for granted until we are about to lose them. This dear girl, Lisa, is about to lose her sight. You brought sight to the blind and hearing to the deaf. You also resurrected some of the dead. We, therefore, know that You have the power to keep this young lady from losing her sight. Please help her to trust in You, no matter what happens. Please help her to find a way to stop, and even reverse the deterioration of her eyes. Help her to cope. Be ever so near to her we pray.

In the wonderful name of Jesus Christ.

I pray your friend is doing much better. I pray that the Holy Spirit will bring her peace, comfort and healing. Also peace and comfort for you since you are worried about your friend. She is blessed to have a friend like you!!!
