Hi everyone, I have a request...

It's early yet for me to be working on this in some ways, but I can't get the thought out of my head. I don't go back to work until December, yet I can't bear the thought of leaving my son.

Please pray that God will open the doors/windows necessary for me to be able to stay home with Charlie. My husband needs a significant raise, a new job, or some other source of income for us to be able to afford for me to stay home.

We've even considered selling our home and moving to a very cheap apartment to be enable me to stay home with Charlie.

Please, please pray for us. I want to be the one raising my son, not someone else.

That is a very biblically based request you have made.

I expect the Lord will open a window so that you can stay at home and raise up and train your child in the way of the Lord.

Maybe you could find some sort of work-at-home thing that you could do, to make some money while at the same time being right there with little Charlie.

A lot of big corporations are cutting costs these days by taking on telecommuters; people who work from home via computer and internet or VPN connection to the company.

Sarah my prayers are with you and your family. I agree with Daryl about this being a Biblical request. Maybe cutting back on expenses will have to be the way to go in order for you to stay home and take care of your son. Remember this old world is not our home we are just passing through and who better to be with your son but you..I know the way it is today it is almost impossable for both parents to stay home, etc. But if at all possible I pray you will be able to do this. It will be a blessing in the end.

God has a plan for all of us, and in His time, we will find out it is.

I will pray that God will open your eyes to the door He has opened before you, and that He will provide for you all that you need to do His will.

Your request is found in His word, and His answer will come.
