Maritime SDA OnLine, a forum originating in Canada especially for Canadian Seventh-day Adventists and friends of Seventh-day Adventists, has entered into its 2nd year, and has expanded its vision and mission to include Seventh-day Adventists and friends of Seventh-day Adventists from around the world.

This gives us a reason to celebrate and to thank you all for making Maritime SDA OnLine the type of family fellowship forum that I have visioned it to be.

May those visiting and reading in our public forums be able to say "how they love one another!

Maritime actually entered its second year a few months ago. It's been one year since Maritime started witht he current server, but wasn't it April or May that Maritime was first started, at Hypermar? That should count.

Since all that data was lost, however, and since everything was created from scratch including the membership list as everybody had to register once again, and the earlies registration date shows July 2000, I thought this was the appropriate time to celebrate our entrance into our second year of operation.

May our 2nd year be better and brighter than the first one was.

I discovered this forum through a link Daryl placed on another site. I hadn't found a satisfactory Adventist site until then - at least the kind I was looking for. This is one of the first places I look when I'm online. I see now-familiar names, and I look forward to hearing responses from friendly people. I'm feeling less threatened by Adventist culture, and that's a big step forward for me. Several people have e-mailed me privately, and that has made me feel valued as an individual. Thank you, Daryl, and thank you, everybody for a spiritual and challenging place to communicate. This is a ministry that God is using for special purposes.

Thank you, Zyph,as hearing things like this encourages me.

Mayber that's why this forum has become what it has.
We uplift each other and none is afraid to say I'm sorry when they inadvertently step over the line.
Isn't that part of our mission? To help in spiritual growth and to sooth the hurt when we are attacked without reason?
