According the Adventist Gossip News Network (AGNN), Elder White has joined the pastoral staff of a N. California SDA Church. This means that Sister White may also be on the platform of that church. Again, according to AGNN, for further information on this one may contact Avalee, one of our own Moderators. NOTE: I have not verified this, but I do consider my source to be reliable. I simply thought you-all might want to know that Avalee may have the privilege of listening to Sister White. I await further details and responses.

I have personallychecked it out. I heard Elder White preach. The title was "That Old Time Religion", and the text was Eph. 2:8-10. I also saw Sister White. In fact, I sat in the row behind her!

Our church had the blessing from listening to Elder White yesterday for the 11:00 service. Sister White did not speak this day. However, she did stand up and was introduced by her husband, Pastor Harold White. His wife's name is Doreen. I may have spelled her name wrong. Pastor White had been called to take the place of Pastor Branner who was called to Pastor the Fairfield SDA Church here in Northern Calfifornia. I am sure Pastor White has had many a teasing about his last name. He even told about one time when he introduced his wife as Sister White and got a reaction. He says now he introduces her as Doreen. Gregory you there yesterday and did not find me!! Shame on you.

Avalee: How would I find you? I signed in, with my name, wife's name, and son's name, as being from Colorado. I made myself available.

I must say I wondered where this topic came from, what it was leading up to, and where it would end up. You may have even been sitting beside each other and never even knew it!

Oh, to have been a fly on the ceiling when he introduced his wife as Sister White, I don't think I could have held my perch after seeing all the startled (and possibly guilty? ) faces. Thanks, I needed a good laugh, and this provided it.
