I was following some links from a site I was just at and ran across this article about a special credit card that will not work on Sabbath hours that Bank Leumi, one of Israel's largest banks, and a group of ultra-orthodox leaders and entrepreneurs are planning to introduce in 2005. You are so right Doug. It is not so unbelievable that when the time comes just by a click of a keyboard we could not sell or buy.

It is easy to mock even this very strange item, BUT, he who mocks, opens himself up to be mocked.

My dad brought up an interesting point. He said that something about how governmnets, in the future, when they have the whole sunday law, could like, have it so that unless you obeyed the catholic church or something you'd have your credit card locked. Although thats just an idea... I don't know if he has anything to back it up with.

I do not think any of us really know how things are going to come about in the end, but we do know that that those who obey God in ALL things will be cut off from all earthly support of ANY kind. That means from family, friends, etc. that are not following God in ALL truth too.

Thats true. Everything is getting much more well... technology based And plus, you americans also have the patriotic act don't you? Don't they have even more control over you with that?

It's called the "Patriot Act". Some people might take offense to you calling it "patriotic". Most Americans seem willing to give up a little freedom in order to get a little safety. I'm not even sure exactly what freedom we're losing with this act and I think most Americans don't either.

The famous American Benjamin Franklin (found on our $100 bill) once said "Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

But doesn't it get more infomation out of you than what they knew before? And doesn't it allow them like acess to stuff in case of a so-called emergency?

Windmill what the patriot act does is make it easier for the goverment to get information, like library checkout records, credit card purchaces etc without going through as much red tape as is usually required in a criminal investagation. It does not, at this point, take away freedoms, however, (and this is speculation on my part) from a prophecy stand point of view it might make it that much easier in the future to take away freedoms of those who do not worship the way the goverment requires. Little by little the US goverment is getting us used to the idea of them having access to any personal records they wish, and with computers it's very easy for them to do so.
