Frank Belden was the nephew of Ellen G. White. He was raised an Adventist and was an employee of the Review and Hearld Publishing house in Battle Creek. He left the church later in life, but in his earlier years he wrote many hymns that are still sung today in the Adventist church. The song lyrics which I am copying here are from a song that was published in the old
Christ In Song hymnal used for many years. When I learned the song more than twenty-five years ago, I found the words very meaningful. I wish that it was still in the hymnal. It is one of the few songs written about the meaning of the sanctuary types and antitypes.
THE PASSOVER
