THE BIBLE IS NOW A FORBIDDEN BOOK
Scripture:
Isa.44:8 " Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any."
Isn't it amazing to see the closure of differences between Roman Catholicism and Protestantism? Canada is leading the way, and it won't be very long, I believe, before the Bible becomes "a forbidden book", or one that is considered "hate literature".

"The Lord has pronounced a curse upon those who take from or add to the Scriptures. The great I AM has decided what shall constitute the rule of faith and doctrine, and he has designed that the Bible shall be a household book. The church that holds to the word of God is irreconcilably separated from Rome. Protestants were once thus apart from this great church of apostasy, but they have approached more nearly to her, and are still in the path of reconciliation to the Church of Rome. Rome never changes. Her principles have not altered in the least. She has not lessened the breach between herself and Protestants; they have done all the advancing. But what does this argue for the Protestantism of this day? It is the rejection of Bible truth which makes men approach to infidelity. It is a backsliding church that lessens the distance between itself and the Papacy. "
"It is souls like Luther, Cranmer, Ridley, Hooper, and the thousands of noble men who were martyrs for the truth's sake, who are the true Protestants....Bible truth was dearer to them than wealth, honor, or even life itself. They could not endure to see the truth buried under a mass of superstition and lying sophistry....They took the word of God in their hands, and raised the standard of truth before the people, boldly declaring that which God had revealed unto them through diligent searching of the Bible." {ST, February 19, 1894 par. 5}
In 1987, Dr. Robert Schuller, a Protestant Bible Commentator said these words. "It's time for Protestants to go to the shepherd (the pope) and say 'what do we have to do to come home?' "LA Herald Examiner, Sept.19,1987
It's been about 6 years since I preached a sermon on "The New World Order". Has there been any new development since that particular time?
Well consider Section 319 This has just gone through the Canadian Court System and IS NOW LAW :"Everyone who, by communicating statements in any public place, incites hatred against any identifiable group where such incitement is to lead to a breach of the peace is guilty of
(a) an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years: or
(b) an offence punishable on summary conviction.
Barry Bussey, Religious Liberty Director for Canada says "By communicating a statement in any public place against a group that is likely to lead to a ' breach of the peace' is criminal. One does not need to have a great imagination to think of scenarios where religious meetings may run afoul of ' breaching the peace.'
Consider a preacher discussing the immorality of the gay lifestyle at a church service. Assume an activist gets up and heckles the preacher, chaos could erupt. Since a church would fit the definition of a 'public place', a preacher in such a situation would face a serious possibility of having to defend himself against the accusation that he publicly incited hatred."
ARE WE THERE YET?
Doesn't it kind of remind you of this quotation from the book, "Keys of This Blood" (Malachi Martin) p.15 (1990)
"Willing or not, ready or not, we are all involved... The competition is about who will establish the first one-world system of government that has ever existed in the society of nations. It is about who will hold and wield the dual power of authority and control over each of us as individuals and over all of us together as a community....
Our way of life as individuals and as citizens of the nations; our families and our jobs; our trade and commerce and money; our educational systems and our religions and our cultures;even the badges of our national identity, which most have always taken for granted- all will have been powerfully and radically altered forever. No one can be exempted from its effects. No sector of our lives will remain untouched."
My friends, "ARE WE THERE YET"?
On October 7/03, I heard that the government of Canada is planning on implementing new ID cards for each citizen of Canada. A later newspaper edition said that "at this time " the plan was on hold because of the enormous cost to do so…something like BILLIONS of DOLLARS. But the message is ominous. The plan is on hold, but it's in the works!
Hmm, and "we" thought the USA would lead the way...seems like Canada "got the jump" on them.
Methinks the Spirit of Prophecy is correct, and we'd better "get our act together, or forget it!"
Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 11. " {ChS 52.2} The days in which we live are solemn and important. The Spirit of God is gradually but surely being withdrawn from the earth. Plagues and judgments are already falling upon the despisers of the grace of God. The calamities by land and sea, the unsettled state of society, the alarms of war, are portentous. They forecast approaching events of the greatest magnitude. The agencies of evil are combining their forces, and consolidating. They are strengthening for the last great crisis. Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones."
Nova Scotia (where I live) just had the worst hurricane (JUAN) in history, the damage to the tune of $100 million- just in the City of Halifax alone.
ARE WE THRE YET?
What does the Bible say about the classes that will not enter into heaven? Here are some different version based on Galatians 5:19-21
(Bible in Basic English 1965) Have you not knowledge that evil-doers will have no part in the kingdom of God? Have no false ideas about this: no one who goes after the desires of the flesh, or gives worship to images, or is untrue when married, or is less than a man, or makes a wrong use of men, Worship of images, use of strange powers, hates, fighting, desire for what another has, angry feelings, attempts to get the better of others, divisions, false teachings, Envy, uncontrolled drinking and feasting, and such things: of which I give you word clearly, even as I did in the past, that they who do such things will have no part in the kingdom of God.
(Contemporary English Version) Don't you know that evil people won't have a share in the blessings of God's kingdom? Don't fool yourselves! No one who is immoral or worships idols or is unfaithful in marriage or is a pervert or behaves like a homosexual.
They worship idols, practice witchcraft, hate others, and are hard to get along with. People become jealous, angry, and selfish. They not only argue and cause trouble, but they are envious. They get drunk, carry on at wild parties, and do other evil things as well. I told you before, and I am telling you again: No one who does these things will share in the blessings of God's kingdom.
(Good News Bible) Surely you know that the wicked will not possess God's Kingdom. Do not fool yourselves; people who are immoral or who worship idols or are adulterers or homosexual perverts in worship of idols and witchcraft. People become enemies and they fight; they become jealous, angry, and ambitious. They separate into parties and groups; they are envious, get drunk, have orgies, and do other things like these. I warn you now as I have before: those who do these things will not possess the Kingdom of God.
(God's Word) Don't you know that wicked people won't inherit the kingdom of God? Stop deceiving yourselves! People who continue to commit sexual sins, who worship false gods, those who commit adultery, homosexuals, idolatry, drug use, hatred, rivalry, jealousy, angry outbursts, selfish ambition, conflict, factions, envy, drunkenness, wild partying, and similar things. I've told you in the past and I'm telling you again that people who do these kinds of things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
(International Standard Version) You know that wicked people will not inherit the kingdom of God, don't you? Stop deceiving yourselves! I am telling you now, as I have told you in the past, that people who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

The bold print in each text could be identification of the the class in section 313, is it not? Therefore , the Bible is now considered "hate literature".
So what are "we" going to do?
The court system has declared anyone who presents this topic in a PUBLIC PLACE condemning such groups is a criminal act.
Do you not see that the Bible has already become a "forbidden Book"?
And what about those who uphold the Bible as the only source of truth?

"Those who honor the Bible Sabbath will be denounced as enemies of law and order, as breaking down the moral restraints of society, causing anarchy and corruption, and calling down the judgments of God upon the earth.
Their conscientious scruples will be pronounced obstinacy, stubbornness, and contempt of authority. They will be accused of disaffection toward the government. Ministers who deny the obligation of the divine law will present from the pulpit the duty of yielding obedience to the civil authorities as ordained of God. In legislative halls and courts of justice, commandment-keepers will be misrepresented and condemned. A false coloring will be given to their words; the worst construction will be put upon their motives.

ALMOST!

"God has a people who will preserve their fidelity to his truth, who will make the Bible, and the Bible alone, their rule of faith and doctrine, who will elevate the standard, and hold aloft the banner on which is inscribed, 'The commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.' They will value a pure gospel, and make the Bible the foundation of their faith and doctrine. "

" When a real love for the Bible is awakened, and the student begins to realize how vast is the field and how precious its treasure, he will desire to seize upon every opportunity for acquainting himself with God's word. Its study will be restricted to no special time or place. And this continuous study is one of the best means of cultivating a love for the Scriptures. Let the student keep his Bible always with him and, as he has opportunity, read a text and meditate upon it. While walking in the streets, waiting at a railway station, waiting to meet an engagement, let him improve the opportunity to gain some precious thought from the treasure house of truth." Counsel to Parents and Teachers, p.463
Matthew 10:16-19 " Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak."

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
Matthew Henry's (Concise Commentary) thoughts on this passage are as follows:
"Some professors of religion are like vessels of wood and earth. When the vessels of dishonour are cast out to be destroyed, the others will be filled with all the fulness of God. We must see to it that we are holy vessels. Every one in the church whom God approves, will be devoted to his Master's service, and thus fitted for his use."
Are we "fit vessels " for God to use?
When everything comes "down to the wire", who will we stand for- God or man?
Will we be like Peter and the other apostles, and say " We ought to obey God rather than men?" (Acts 5:29)
OR will we betray our Lord, and have Him say to us "but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born."Matt 26:24
How we are living today, determines how we will be living when Jesus comes again.
Friends! I believe we are past the time to "dilly- dally" around. It's PAST time to "PLAY CHURCH".
WE ARE LIVING IN SERIOUS TIMES!
The Bible talks about a time when men will "have a form of godliness , but deny the power thereof ".(2 Tim 3:5)
We need a Revival and reformation!
I NEED A REVIVAL AND REFORMATION!
Isa.6:22 I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman. Zion is synonymous with Jerusalem.
Rev 12:17 "And the dragon was wroth with the {woman}, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

The Bible tells us that His judgment begins in His house with His elders and leaders.

He who presides over His church and the destinies of nations is carrying forward the last work to be accomplished for this world. To His angels He gives the commission to execute His judgments. Let the ministers awake, let them take in the situation. The work of judgment begins at the sanctuary. "And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brazen altar." Read Ezekiel 9:2-7. The command is, "Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house." Saith God. "I will recompense their way upon their head." {TM 431.3}
The words will soon be spoken, "Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth." One of the ministers of vengeance declares. "And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because Thou hast judged thus." These heavenly beings, in executing the mandate of God, ask no questions, but do as they are bid. Jehovah of hosts, the Lord God Almighty, the just, the true, and the holy, has given them their work to do. With unswerving fidelity they go forth panoplied in pure white linen, having their breasts girded with golden girdles. And when their task is done, when the last vial of God's wrath is poured out, they return and lay their emptied vials at the feet of the Lord. {TM 432.1}
And the next scene is recorded, "After these things . . . I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth." They sing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. {TM 432.2}

All heaven is astir, engaged in preparing for the day of God's vengeance, the day of Zion's deliverance. The time of tarrying is almost ended. The pilgrims and strangers who have so long been seeking a better country are almost home. I feel as if I must cry aloud, Homeward bound! Rapidly we are nearing the time when Christ will come to gather His redeemed to Himself.
Romans 13:11 "And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed."
